clearly the third/fourth party engineering wizardry is only growing stronger year after year. Still I hope this Optimus figure doesnt have any partsforming.
This company made the Bee movie Prime mm01, which single handedly got me back into this hobby. I couldn't believe such a thing could transform. Now they have this version, I've already put a deposit down, just waiting to give my money away.
This one will also follow the ROTF prime transformation scheme. In the truck mode images, you can see the back panels of his legs as well as the feet pointing upwards and towards the back. The rotf scheme is merely the most logical transformation for this prime design and is ultimately an inherent truth of transforming ROTF prime molds. This one will obviously be way more heavily modified and intricate compared to the ROTF prime design from way back when
I can see the wheels actually flattens to transform, just like how black Apple transform the wheels, this figure can easily knock black Apple off (depending on the paint job).
This guy is going to be the same height as the thunder leader; 30 cm. He will scale with mpm bumblebee and mpm jazz, not with the original mpm ratchet and mpm ironhide, though. That is because even mpm Optimus does not scale with mpm bumblebee; mpm Optimus is too short. There is a slight amount of kibble in the truck if you look below the truck next to the wheels. However, there isn’t enough to be completely distracted by it.
I hope the accessories are accurate because I'm tired of seeing the arm blades without the handles, and I'm tired of seeing the buster cannon without the blue arm guard. The Barrage cannon gets a pass since it didn't have an arm guard
This is Unique Toys, their weapon storage will probably be on the bed of the truck. This what gets me annoyed about these companies, to think that they would have known by now to at least transform the weapons into vehicle or beast parts instead of storing them on top of the figures. Which is why I love the Black Apple version because they did it right. They have two barrel guns transform into exhaust pipes and tanks, and have his two blades stored underneath the vehicle
@Ray_Shabaz True, but here's the thing. Though even though they have those accessories they will still not be accurate. For instance, Optimus Prime's cannons have blue arm guards deployed when he uses one of them. As for his energy blades in the second movie, you can see them jut out of his arm and have a handle like a traditional sword. And this is later displayed in Dark of the Moon.
@@crossyfirezx9659 despite the possible flaws, let's give this figure a chance, especially what this guy said and I agree, it doesn't look like it transforms. It looks like a statue
This is a 3rd part figure. They are not allowed to use the Autobot logo. That is why all knockoffs and figures like this don't have faction logos and they have weird names like "Freedom fighter" or "M-01 Commander". They cannot legally call them by their actual names too
I don't know, I feel like that ROTF prime transformation scheme has to go. That scheme always leads to this Spongebob proportions that basically every bayverse prime toy has had. Big boxy torso and short anorexic legs. It's actually kinda surprising with all these insane 3rd party engineering that no one has been able to get Prime's proportions right. That black apple one was such a wasted opportunity. Hopefully this one turns out to be the definitive bayverse Prime!
