Thanks so much ... you totally right though gary, i feel the same way, youtube is saturated with so many channels doing the same thing being outside the box i feel is 'one' of the keys..... ive a few funky ones coming up over the next few weeks so see lets how they perform, ill be honest id love to be smashing mad vids all over the world in every episode but the channels just not big enough for that atm 🙏

@@wanderingwhere mate sometimes simple is more. Kicking around the UK in your car and venturing into the wilds is more attractive to folk than you might think. And it lets so many people actually see the places that others have mentioned to them. I know I’ve had many “digs” at you over time but it’s always been constructive criticism as I genuinely would like to see your channel grow Just try not to fall into what you see others do. Be unique,but be simple

ive no idea mate i kinda checked some website and said nothing was fling for a month bit annoying tbf, was parked up on it for the night would have been good, where the spots up on the hill with the big layby ? spot i parked in winter one time i think, then a hike up either side of the road

sorry dude, first time ive had a van in over 3 years thought some ppl would have been interested in seeing the inners of it, sorry if it seemed that way, a shout for the dude who lent it me is the least i could have done for him though

Yeah the older stuff was better,a bit more original. Channels with people in campervans are ten a penny I watched his earlier stuff religiously but lately I’ve lost interest

@@gary_248 Indeed. Money talks and the attraction of increased subscribers has changed things. Another channel I used to watch 'Life is too short' has gone the same way. Spending or renting a large van is not stealthy or original and open to explotation.

@@billmccarthy9689 yeah the “ stay stealthy “ slogan went out the window a long time ago now. It’s a fickle old world is RU-vid and subscribers can drop just as quick as they go up if people lose interest

totally with you guys its why im trying to do different things atm with different vehicles and the odd campsites here and there, i cant please everyone, some people are leaving comments that the car stuff is getting old and then some saying the new stuff is too similar to other channels the truth of it is that youtubes just saturated with millions of channels doing the same thing and unless every video is a huge disaster, a massive storm or a completely out there it will generally get overlooked, no fear on the van though could be years before i scrape the cheese together and ive a 'biscuit tin' i spent alot of time and effort putting together that got a lot of misadventures to be had in it yet.... just aquired a HUGE tent for it show you in a couple of episodes 😉

I’ll be honest and say when I first came across your channel,think it was the Ben Lomond episode,I wasn’t too keen on it but checked some more episodes out and it grew on me,I subbed and watched every one since. But the van stuff isn’t a patch on your car shenanigans and in my opinion that’s where you’ll get the subs Also try get more longer hikes in,people love watching that,especially the folk who can’t get to these places or aren’t able

after trying one for a week i can honestly say ur going to love it
