It did please me that this version of Obi Wan appeared in the closing moments of the finale when he finally sees Qui Gon. IMO there is another trilogy of films to be had during “the dark times” with a huge range of characters like Ventress and Vos, A’Sharad Hett, Vader and Fett, also Maul and Qi’ra as antgonists and of course, more Kenobi! But treated with reverence and respect for the source material of course.
Nobody else seems to have mentioned it, so I'll put out there that the ship is a T-16 Skyhopper, which is basically a big eater egg as it's the ship Luke talks about flying in ANH and it's the one he's playing with when the droids are getting an oil bath.
I laughed when i saw this videos title 😂 i was like this dude must be joshing. Im not a fan of Disney Star Wars, so this figure has no appeal to me . I just saw you had a new video and wanted to support my dude 😎 🙏. I hope your having a great Holiday Season my friend. So its said, i think it speaks volumes about your content that i can watch this video in its entirety even though i have no interest in the figure. Well done 👍
haha, glad it was entertaining. you know I had to do a lil baiting just for the joke 😂 it's a good figure, certainly a fun combination of different Obi Wan looks, but it can't be the best. still worth checking out if you can remove it from the show it comes from in your mind haha. hope you're also enjoying the holiday with family! 🙏🏼
thank you! I did have to model and 3d print a peg that was shorter. the one in the Dagobah Luke was too short and the one that came on the Mando Luke was too long. I like the dishevelled look it gives him! like Jedi/possibly Sith Luke fighting on Kamino or somewhere with rain! thanks for checking it out!
@@boredfigures not something I can do on my own then 😞 thank you very much for your answer anyway ! Yeah, this headsculpt makes it look like he is actually getting into some action !
@PyRoAnThraaX even if you can't get a hold of a 3d printer, using some sticky tack on the peg is always an option if you're really attached to the look!
Kenobi series really was mid, but I was extremely happy to see McGregor and Christensen back, for me they are probably amongst the most iconic duos in cinema, if not the most, I can't really remember any duo with such a connection. Wish there was a complete rip-off of SW The Clone Wars but with live action actors xD (Why a rip-off? Because SW:TCW was good)
true, looks like Disney have a thing on making legacy characters broken, they would have done that to Anakin/Vader if he wasn't portrayed in Original trilogy xD@@boredfigures
Completely agree with your takes on Kenobi and Ahsoka; with Kenobi, it's super unneeded and if anything, creates issues with the OT alongside it's goofy plot with Leia which also causes problems with Episode 4. I just think the show actually detracts from the OT rather than actually adding to it.
amen. it's got fun ideas and concepts, the artists behind costume design and art direction did great, but the overall execution of a show or film is held up by it's writing and it's just subpar. doesn't mean there isn't specific details to appreciate, but judging it on a whole as a show it's just mediocre and detractive
Yeah it undermine the whole plot of 66 when Kenobi can hide Leia under his jacket etc. Stupid they should of remade the whole 6 films they would of got more respect then trying to continue arcs of the original characters even down to the same actors.
it's the only valaverse I currently have. I'd like to get more but just haven't been as motivated. Trigger was the coolest to me at the time. they've def released some dope ones since tho
