You can swap the claw talisman for the kindred of rot exultation, equip the mushroom head and throw a poison pot at the ground before the boss to get even more damage.
@@hethna4166 I tried it the poison damage overall isn’t worth it, bleed is still better besides Godskin Peelers are way better weapons to build up bleed and has huge base damage
@@MyNamesMegatronit's just part of the buff routine, u swap to the poison helmet and proc the poison buff, the weapon still does bleed. I personally am too lazy to do that and the build itself is already enough for me so I don't do it

@@PokemonTrainerN8 i wouldn't use it bc since we aren't using skills we won't need attack increase for that, we are only using regular attacks which is the jump attack
Sorry to bother you, but as a non dlc player is this the best build? I have been struggling with maliketh and I was thinking about a blasphemous blade build.
@@Stormborn_Avy this build is the best bleed build that i have come across, but as for all around power and survivability, i think the blasphemous blade build would be a better choice bc it heals u on every hit and it hits pretty hard, but getting the blasphemous blade skill off is pretty difficult unless u find a window in that fight
@@rayana1517 if u don't have milicent prosthesis u can trade for prosthesis wearer heirloom which increases dex. if u don't have the rotten winged sword i think there's just a regular one called winged sword insignia. u have to have claw talisman for the increase jump attack and lord of bloods for increase damage when blood loss occurs
@@seanefrem1899 since the scavenger curved swords already have bleed without having the blood affinity, the occult affinity is better for more base damage which scales the best with the arcane stat. I believe having the blood affinity would just increase the amount of blood loss buildup and would proc bleed faster

@@abcdaffaa i would keep arcane 80 then level up dex 60 then strength 60 then evenly distribute points into dex and strength if u continue leveling, but make sure u have adequate vigor and endurance
@@liljimmah i would suggest using bandit curved swords with seppuku and blood affinity. i would keep 80 in arcane, 50 vigor or more if u need, 18 endurance, 11 mind, 25 faith and evenly distribute the rest of the points into dex and strength
The scavenger itself causes bleed pretty fast with dual wield. So most ppl use the occult affinity for more damage (scaling on arcane but may varies depending on ur stats. Just compare the occult and bleed affinity and go with whatever gives u more base damage
bro i have the almost exact same talismans (i have winged sword instead of rotten winged sword). Im level 250 with 80 arc and 80 dex. same level weapons and same scaling with seppuku. Im in ng+ on the dlc, but im stuck on rellana because my jump attacks only deal like 700-1000 damage and it takes atleast two or three attacks to proc bleed. What am i doing wrong?
@@anton-lg6tk make sure u upgrade ur scadutree fragments to at least 15 or more, that really helps with damage. but if u are level 250 or higher, i would switch to the bandit curved swords since they are much better at a higher level when more points are added into dex and strength
@@gabrielhurtado3504 i think the bandit curved swords would be better on ng3 bc usually u would want to go higher than level 150 on ng3, and could put more points into strength and dex. but i'm on my first playthrough and im capping myself at 150
@@shaadow7190 go to any grace site, select ash of war, select any one of the swords, re-select the seppuku that is already on the sword, and u should be able to change it from blood to occult
only the scavenge curved sword comes with bleed without any bleed affinity. The weapon itself procs bleed very fast which is why most ppl use occult instead of bleed on the scavenger. if u only have one scavenger, put that on occult and the bandit on bleed
@@Mr5-b5d that's weird, i'm not sure why it's only giving you those options. maybe change ur ash of war to something random then try putting seppuku back on one of the swords and the option of occult should be at the bottom
