Great info Angie. I used the ultra hold Heat N Bond on felt to make felt eyes for my amigurumi. I made quite a few eyes but never thought that leaving the paper on would dull my blade. But I guess it's like scissors you don't want to cut paper with your fabric scissors.

Just want to confirm, when using iron-on bonding with paper, do you put the paper side down or the fabric side down to cut? In the video it looked like you put the paper side down?

I saw some denim earrings and was wondering if I back them with HTV and cut them, would that work in a similar way as using interfacing? I wasn't sure how the denim would differ from faux leather.
