I am 57 and our home economics teacher did this with us in high school and I still do it until today. It is lovely. She called it bread and butter pudding. May she rest in peace.

Hi Renee, it's nice to see mommy and daughter baking together, it looked beautiful, but if you are worried that it would come out dry, you could do a coconut custard to go with it, you use the natural coconut milk, sweet with sugar and spices, you could use the flour water for desired thickness and rum. You can try it next time it goes well with the custard, I even tried it with the blue draws it came out great. I guess Jimmy never needed his dumplings after all.

Well done to you all it looked fine at least it wasn't burned on top i know all the baking disasters 😂i like baking very much i have made this Bread pudding you made but usually make the old fashioned one which its more like a slab of cake to slice and lasts for days
