Real Techniques are good but avoid the ones with the black at the bottom of the handle as they get sticky after awhile. Sigma and Spectrum are my faves right now. Also even aliexpress and amazon have a lot of great brush sets if you're on a budget.
Damn. This is genius storage. I have a dust allergy and it’s far from being fun, everyday struggle :( Can you make a video about brush cleaning procedure with diy/soaps?
With my jessup brushes, I had a lot of fall out. Same with my ColourPop. I've tried Beili, ducare, and zoreya and they were awesome. Maybe it was just the particular set I bought. I'm going to wash them to see if they stop shedding. Sometimes they lose the hairs just due to making them and the loose ones haven't had a chance to come out. What do you clean your brushes with? I've been waiting for a updated video on brush selection. Wonderful video.
Oo I haven't heard of those brush brands before! Sorry to hear that you didn't have any luck with them! I honestly can say I haven't had any problems with shedding/ fallout 🙁 I clean my brushes with normal hand soap usually! For really dirty brushes or foundation brushes I go in with some garnier micellar gel wash first just to break the makeup down a bit more. I just try to go with nothing too stripping or abrasive, don't yank on the bristles when I wash them and leave them to dry flat/ on a downward angle so the water doesn't go int the ferrel and break down the glue! Hope that helps? I want to do a brush collection video, probably next year with some spring cleaning and declutters! 💕
@@M.withMeg I'll be watching. I have tried washing those brushes but haven't used them but hopefully that was the problem. When they make them sometimes the bristles that were loose haven't had a chance to fall out. They do seem softer because I used Garnier whole blends moisturizing shampoo. So we'll see if that was the issue. I'm sure that's what it was. Because several people I watch had a great experience. Love your videos. Keep them coming. Plus I'd try out those brushes I mentioned. They are awesome and inexpensive too. Great for a makeup kit.
