Really appreciate your build videos! I learn something new each time. Just throwing this out there, but if you ever did deep-dive videos on specific components - as in, everything you need to know about motherboards/GPUs/RAM when selecting the right one for your build - I'd be ecstatic. I definitely picked out non-optimal parts for my first build because I didn't even know what sorts of things I should be looking for (like that issue with the motherboard only having a limited number of fan headers).
Awesome video! Really well done on the explanation and production quality. The next build should be the cheapest 4k gaming PC that is made entirely of second hand parts.
Smashed my like button!! AWSOME job Ed !! 👍👍 Excellent content, I love that is a dedicated breakdown of how to wrap and paint mods to the system and that you included everything in the pricing. Next edition to this I would love to see a follow on from this episode, but upgraded. If you could build a system for £2,000 but keep the £1,000 in mind. A bonus content would be added mods and explanations of "how" and "why". Would this be a challenge?
Omg an actual good $1K PC build that doesn’t waste money in the wrong areas? Only thing i would change is just getting the black version case to not have to deal with the paint job and opt for a budget tower air cooler. There are so many other build videos like this that just end up having like an RX 6650 XT for $1k.
What I like about this build is you can easily turn it into a stealth build as well. Which is what my kids wants. So time build two of these for my girls thanks saved me time in research.
This was an awesome educational build vid around the different part specs. I used the CH370 case for my build, it's so light and easy to build in. I did similar and went with a 3 pack of light wings 3 fans, and dropped a 360 Rad in the front.
The reason why you get more fps in higher resolution because when your running in 1080p games utilizes more cpu than in higher resolution they use more gpu and with your gpu being what is more powerful you get more fps
Great Build, only thing I would change is use a Ryzen 5 5600 instead as it's cheaper overall and you can enable SAM with the RX 6800 for ~5% performance gain. Also I wouldn't trust that PSU at all, why not just get something reputable?
@@Jander_ gigabyte b660m d3sh with dual m.2 and 4 ram sticks, $119 in my country cheaper than this one and this psu could be changed to a toughpower thermaltake gx2 600w +80 plus gold
I literally decided to build one today and, of course, I came to your channel to start my research, and boom, here we are. Can you do a $1500 gaming PC? Some of my coworkers keep inviting me to play and I want to finally join them! They suggested I stay at a $1500 budget and it seemed a reasonable price and I also just need a new PC in general.
You should have gotten the b660m ds3h ax, it has WiFi and has bios flashback in case you want to upgrade to a 13400f. I just feel it has better value. Also that PSU is literally a fire hazard. Especially since you’re running a 6800. Also I feel like spending $19 on a cpu cooler is a good idea. There is definitely some things you could change about this build.
At that point may aswell spend a bit more and go am5 with a 7600. Smart access memory would squeeze out more performance too, since both cpu+gpu would be AMD.
the b660m ds3h is bad for an i5 12400f since it has power limits that decreases the processor's performance. the best cpu it can be paired with is probably only the i3 12100f and nothing more than that
Love the video. Could you maybe do a 1500$ or 2000$ for the next one? This is my favorite series out of all you've done. Btw do you know any stores that are not too expensive for shopping overseas?
Our Boy Ed blessing our Saturday evenings with his videos. That case looks sick too ,looks like one of those you can find for 3D printing could be a video idea tho
I went budget this time around with my build last year having the i3-12100f + RX 6600XT. But I likely need to upgrade in a few years since my GPU has only 8gb vRam.
liked and also vram crisis is stupid. you can play all top tier games but not at tier settings.... you wlll have to reduce them but quality is minimal.....
Do not have to break the budget in building a budget system $1,000 is a sweet spot for a gaming PC and Ed did is marketing skills right Great build and great game play.
It's too unfortunate to build this exact PC in India. No availability of exact same parts and a bit more on pricier side even if we get exact same parts.
i have a 4090 and in GTAV in certain spots of the map where its really bushy, i get 60fps at 1440p.... a 4090... i mean come on. this card was almost $2k and it still gets only 60fps in some spots.
Love the videos, i request please make pc build with this task = prioritize graphic, 60 fps minimum, non rgb(not focusing look), 1080p, with 1300$ (pc only)
I am interested in building this pc, and I want to have 32GB of ram. Does anyone mind suggesting me a ram that is compatible with the motherboard? Also many people in the comment section are suggesting me to get a better psu, if you could also pick out a psu compatible with this computer that would be amazing! Cheers! (I am a first time builder)
Really good build. Greetings from Germany. Can you do other size budget builds? Like ITX for example? Parts are always a little harder to get and thusfore a little more expensive. To have a nice guide would be awesome
Having this performance for under 1000 bucks is insane! Though personally i would've gone with a cheap am4 build instead, ryzen 5700x and 32gb of memory at least for future proofing, especially since with windows 11 and 16gb ram I had ran out of memory and it crashed games multiple times. Also budgeting on psu is not worth it which could set you back big time if it kills your system and also for peace of mind aswell as some budget cpu cooler can't hurt aswell. Whether it's an intel or amd build I think with the memory, psu and optionally the cpu cooler changes it could be a great system. It might push it over 1000 bucks but remember guys you can spend 1000 bucks and regret it and you can also spend a bit more and be content and feel your purchase worthy. If you already spend that much money it's better make it worth it imo.
Man, I am thinking of getting AM5-7700X or AM4-5800X3D with 32gb RAMs, just cant decide what is better for gaming and work. Its almost same price, but dunno if AM5 is worht it, I am planning to keep that pc as long as it holds.. Im still playing on i5 4460 and 960 4gb i got in 2015/16.. any tips?
Very good video. Also budget-performance wise you made a very good build. I was expecting a 6700xt at that price point. So I was positively surprised to see a rx6800, but probably for the European market that would not fit in 1000 euro. Also very nice extras with the painting, vinyl and cables. The only point I disagree with is the 'no upgrade path on AM4'. There is higher speed RAM like mt 3600 cl16 and the 5800X3D which would cost like 250 euro more than the current build I reckon. Also for the power consumption, perhaps it is better to mention this as wattage per frame, because otherwise lower fps builds would by default score better in power draw I reckon. All in all, very good video. Especially the painting/taking apart the GPU and fan headers explanation. Keep it up! 👍
I'm going to build a PC for my son and have a budget between $500 and $600. I like the CPU, motherboard, and RAM you chose but the GPU is a out of my price range. What would be a good GPU to get in my price range?
What do you think of this build? Processor: i7 13700k Cpu cooler: Dark rock pro 4 Motherboard: gigabyte z790 Aoris elite AX Memory: G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 32 GB Storage: Samsung 980 Pro 2 TB M.2 Video card: 4070 TI Case: Corsair iCue 4000x Power suply: Corsair rm750x Lmk if you should change something😊 and btw do you know what case fans i should add because im not a pc builder expert😁
I'd switch cases if I were you just cause I have 4000x and am not a huge fan and am switching it soon For fans you should go with the lian LI unifan v2 or their infinity ones, depends what style you're looking for
Switch the case to the 4000D RGB Airflow, or just the 4000D airflow and whatever fans you like. Temps will be a lot better. Otherwise, that's a nice build.
I ALWAYS go for BRAND ITEMS when it comes to personal use builds because I plan to use them for 4-5 years. That being said, for $200 more, at $1200, you could upgrade the PSU, RAM, and M.2 to more named brands like Corsair and upgrade them as well. From a sellers point, this build is great, but if you are planning to do an actual nice build, never be afraid to spend a little more, as long as it benefits your build. Nobody wants PC Components to burn out a year after using. It's best to spend a little more and be completely satisfied than doing upgrades later on.
the RAM and m.2 are pretty decent you don't need to upsell yourself on those necessarily. the only issue will be the PSU being poor. Wait... did you just call crucial a none name brand?
@@eggsrael4889 Lol that's what I was thinking. Crucial is the name brand for PC storage. Only better option for an SSD are the Samsung EVO drives. Also, I'm pretty sure I've heard of Adata before. It's definitely not a no name brand either.
