removing the lemat because it deals 6 less points of damage and cost 10 less than the spitfire which is on the list with a shotgun (at least for ammo pool) ? meh
Not needing to spin the chamber on the chain pistol is also pretty handy when you need to swap between your primary and secondary very often. Especially since it doesn’t punish you for partial reloads.
lol gezzz that last clip was sick.... very nice =P my personal favorite is the spitfire once i discovered it i fell in love but im using the new army a bit more lately fun to learn
What exactly makes the Pax Claw worse than the knife? Since they buffed it it has the same damage and stamina consumption, so its a knife that you dont need to switch to mid combat.
With knife you can stab 4 times, with claw only 3 before stamina is empty. But it‘s good against dogs since it needs only one stab while knuckle knife needs 2 attacks. If you play with stamina shot or conduit it‘s a great addition.
One thing you really should try out for a budget loadout is dual nagant pistols You'll likely have them from free hunters so they're great to run every once in a while Go to the training grounds and feel out the perfect firing rate Then commit to them, they are AMAZING. 14 rounds of relatively fast firerate They are an amazing way to give yourself a chance against trios on a lvl 1 hunter with 0 traits and at lvl 1. People sleep on the dual nagant pistols.
Agree on Nagant S being garbage for 99% of pvp uses, but with fanning it becomes quite strong. Still a 2 tap at close range, access to poison ammo(opponent more likely to miss), good ammo pool, no muzzle flash and basically no recoil, no fanning = no bueno though
I once had an insane clutch with the caldwell new army, one of my favorites. I was 1 against 3, all my team mates had died, 1 left, another was burning, i was peak stressed cus i was bleeding, one jumps down and i 1 shot him, another rushes me from the side wirh a shotgun and barely miss me, i two tap him. The last one katana rushed me, and i headshot him! After that i was shaking more than a chihuahua ( however you spell that 😂 ) it's the BEST gun in my opinion if you dont have fanning, or going for sniping with it, then take a uppercutter
lemart ... what? only revoler weapon I use when I use a sniper, because handcrossbow is to risky because of the arm shots I get to often and the shotgun mode saved my ass a lot from bomblance rusher.
The biggest strength of the normal, non-swift Scottfield is that free hunters always seem to have them. I've started sometimes running akimbo Scottfields with a Springfield compact/deadeye or a Scottfield precision to not waste the free guns and get a kick out of running a silly loadout. The Officer and New Army could use some adjustments IMO. Having a better ROF, one more bullet and 50% more velocity more than make up for the decrease in base damage. The New Army can't even take advantage of the damage because you can't hit anything at the ranges where it matters. The New Army is dependable in CQC, while the Officer can be relied on as a like an extension of your primary rifle. The only thing the New Army really has going for it is dumdum and spamming walls with FMJ.
7:00 Get the Immolator to chase you outside and then fire a shot to attract the meathead, shoot the Immolator and light up the meathead for a couple of bullets
I'm like don't say it , don't say it, don't say it - Rachta: the Scottfiel Spitfire.... I would just add regular Scotts are the best dual wields 2nd only to Conversion with their bs accuracy. Swift is only good with fanning, yes I agree and I was surprised you fanned on a Spitfire: Never fan on a spitfire the short barrel reduces accuracy and it can't sustain fanning accurately. Oh, and basic Nagant and Silencer get some sort of speed buff when dual wielding?? I mean yes dual shot but they shoot faster than what their fire rate claims somehow - I don't know call me crazy. Also fanning Silenced is nasty good, the silencer helps keep it steady.
Thanks for the video! It's great to see you making the most of those affordable pistols. It just goes to show that you don't always need the most expensive gear to get the job done in Hunt. Keep up the good work and looking forward to your next one!
I love the lemat with slugs and fmj. Depends on loadouts though. It’s great for close range if you want to fight shotgun users and if your aim aim is good. The only issue is that I wish it auto toggles after shooting the shotgun since if you are getting pushed by two it is more risky.
(obligatory IMO) the chain pistol is never worth taking, ESPECIALLY as a new player. Yes you might get fanning kills here and there thanks to the sheer amount of bullets but that large mag is a huge crutch reinforcing bat habits like not reloading consistently throughout a fight, staying in the open way too long and relying on rng. Using it too much just cripples further skill development. That said, its still a solid pick for close quarters, fighting multiple opponents or a panic spray and pray option.
You can’t reliably fan people from 50m hahaha what…… we all know it’s good at fanning but it’s easily the worst pistol in the game. Underrated is not the word, more like underpowered.
@@hextech3161 see i disagree with you and with Rachta here, for 24 buckeroos its pretty damn good. 7 shots, 91damage torso@10m, which is a 2tap, similiar recock speed to other single actions (honestly, 40rpm vs 45rpm is really not that different) good velocity and a good ammo pool too. all other compact pistols you're paying over double that for very close stat gains
I really value knuckle pistols for the one game in one hundred where Im running a romero talon or martini riposte with all my tool slots filled by mines
lebel and mosin for beginners? those cost wayu too much for someone who just started playing. And also because of the high muzzle velocity they will never learn how to lead shots. Vetterli sounds much more affordable, still wallbang capable because of medium ammo and can make it even better with fmj
11:09 this is why people say streamer have special lobbies/ payed actors, you can´t just crouchwalk while the dude misses your head TWICE, thats stuff that would never happen in my games... in my games if you crouch walk and someone sees you, you are dead because oponents have 95% acuracy.
Which one is better to use: Hunter or Gunslinger? I try hold RMB and Shift for zooming, its very unusual for me, but i'm heard "Hunter is better to play"
It’s not worth learning Hunter now. You can change your FOV so that it matches the FOV from when the gun is lowered. You just gotta manually lower your gun when you’re next to a wall so it doesn’t peek through
