This is an example of a perfect LEGO remake. I had the original as a kid and it's an absolute classic, and this is the perfect mix of new techniques and minifigs along with staying accurate to the scene and keeping the same feel for the old set. A definite must get for me.
I can’t wait for this set to be released on March 1st. I will be getting three of these sets to make it larger for the underwater areas and will be adding mini figures of Cho Chang, Cedric, Gabrielle, and Fleur.
Day one purchase for me, especially after completing my collection of the original Goblet of Fire sets last summer. My favorite HP movie, I now own all of the sets except for the new first task. No need after getting the new Hungarian Horntail last summer.
Hey hey, i just saw your "Monsters Inc: The Door to Monstropolis" product idea on LEGO ideas got 10.000 supporters!! Congrats! Hope it makes it through the LEGO designer review!
Damn it Holly, I was changing my mind about this set since we still dont know the summer wave but daaaamn you making me want this set again! Ive been waiting for so long for this remake, and we have the Hungarian horntail too so it make sense for us to get the second trail set too . The mermaid looks soooo gooood. Hopefully she wont be too expencive on her own id love a small siren army, but Im dreaming too much now
I picked this one up last night at a local store along with all four house banners (pretty sure they weren’t supposed to be on the shelf yet). Thanks for your video!! I can’t wait to build it!
It is a really good looking set. Disappointing they didn't give Harry and Krum legs to look like they're in swimming trunks, like they did in the Rescue from the Merpeople set (4762) from 2005.
Yeah, but that's the only thing I'd change. I don't know if dual-molded legs exist in the right colors for them, but if they do, or if they get made later on, you bet I'll grab those lol
I was able to get this set for $19 at a flea market. Debating to keep it sealed or build it. Goblet of Fire is in my top 3 favorite Harry Potter books and this looks like a perfect display piece
I cannot wait for this set! Taking the day off to take my son to the LEGO shop on release day. Think this is the only one in the new wave I’m after though x
Best budget set? This is $45 US for like 300-some pieces ... and I really only am excited for Krum, the Grindylow, and maybe the Merperson. Horntail seems like a much better value for a similar price.
She’s one of the major things I want to add when I try to mod the set, though I’m really glad she has the sleeping face and that we aren’t left without her like we are Cho
The set is nice but it's a bit too squished for me. The original one was taller and more slender, thus more film accurate. The arc is particularly weak in this set, specially when they could have used a full arc piece instead of half's. The minifigures are nice, though. And the mermaid one is great.
Unlike it. It looks like a 🧜 mermaid land scape build. Or kinda fits in with. A under water sea part. 😊👍 Aquar set s or mermaid set s that need to do for the. Girls and lady I'm Shaw thay would like. As set s. I might do a moc build of the bottom half of this. Build I like it and top half would be good for a beach hut. .😊👍🧜⛱️🛖🏝️🌅
Personally I don't really care for this set, seems small and underwhelming. Probably my least favorite set of the wave. Good to see how opinions can differ though.
G'day holly looking stunning xx. Kool like that shark mini fig. It would be great for a. NRL shark mascot fig. Or for any sport s team mascot if got the. Shark s name. 👍 Or could you's it for a fish n chip shop. Logo desplay on roof. Of a flak fish shop..😊
