Went to Wynn buffet last trip and was floored by the quantity and quality of the food...beautiful presentation and very friendly staff....plan on going there every visit now
EXCELLENT video, informative and no holds barred. I like that. The offerings looked good, not too much filler foods. I was surprised they served no lobster,or scallops....maybe hey have on another day. Keep up the great work.
We have had this buffet many times so I’m not surprised you picked it as #1. But really, it’s Wynn so I wouldn’t expect anything but the best. Great video as always.
I've had the Wynn Buffet many times and I love it, but I have to say I think they must have added about 30 new desserts to the selection! Some of those looked so awesome! I'm headed to Vegas next month and I think I will have to make it a dinner stop this trip. Great video!
Thanks for this review. We normally do not do buffets, however were visiting the end of March with my son and some of his friends for his 21st bday celebration. Very helpful. Thanks again!
I was in Vegas a couple of months ago, and I was not impressed with the Bachannol Buffet. The only item good there was the Birria Tacos. We ate at the Wynn Buffet, and it was amazing! It's definitely worth the price!
I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with you. Bacchanal is a " rat- race" because it is so good.... just get a reservation. But, more on that later. I paid three hundred dollars for myself and two other people at wynn. For that kind of money, I would expect way better. The food was the most tasteless and basic that I have ever had. It would rival golden corral at best. The prime rib was horrible. No seasoning. The brisket was no different, with no hint of bark on it. The pre-made salad was no different than the build your own. All other meats were equally as bad. In fact, I filled my plate up, went back to my table, tried a little bit of everything, told my party we were leaving, and went back to Aria for some good food. Now, as far as Bacchanal is concerned. I know how to cook a damn good brisket, and their's was just as good. So was everything else I had. I cannot speak to the seafood of either as I do not eat seafood. But, Bacchanal is way better overall, for me at least.
I just got back from Vegas, went to the Wynn to try the buffet because I always hear that it is the best in Vegas, but the wait was two and a half hours standing in line. Someone suggested we go to Cosmo instead, and while we got through the line in less than 30 minutes we were sorely disappointed with Cosmo's buffet. Food quality was hit and miss, and there were basic buffet staples that were just missing. Next time I got to Vegas I want to redouble my efforts to do the Wynn buffet.
I went to the Wynn buffet when I was in Vegas a few weeks ago. Wow, it was impressive! Great quality food, fresh, and very flavorful. I didn't get a chance to try half of the items. I then found the desserts! I wished I had more room to have tried more of them. I will have to go back next time and try the other things. Walking through the Wynn was amazing as well... what a beautiful place!
I have to say it looks delicious! I went to Bacchanal a while back and wasn’t impressed. The desserts were awesome but not impressed with the rest for the money. Will have to try Wynn
Thank you for your time and posting. I'm moving to Henderson next week. I'm retired and looking forward to eating out a lot. Thanks again. Just a note: Wasabi is most likely colored horseradish/mustard. Wasabi is about $200 a pound. ;) I'd be interested in the seating capacity for each buffet. That may make the difference in buffet wait time.
I ate here years ago on a comp, I had to wait over an hour in line just to get in. I don't think it was good enough to wait that long, I would rather eat in a restaurant with a reservation and pay the same price.
Both take reservations, and we'd highly suggest making one. If you have a reservation at either buffet you'll get in pretty close to the time you reserved. Thanks as always!
Enjoyed the video. You’ve. Convinced me to try the Wynn dinner buffet on my next solo trip in May. I wish you had shown your plates before you started tasting.
Thanks for this! OMG.... we went to the Wynn years ago and were floored at how amazing it was back then. Hmmmm...... $100 + Canadian each. Might splurge.
I've been trying to decide which of the 'top 5' buffets to try on the strip while I'm there next month. Thanks to your video, the Wynn Buffet moved up on the list. Everything looks great. I could get my money's worth just eating desserts 🤣😂😅
Good video review spoiled by one thing; we need to see the plate of food you have in front of you. Lowering the video view would solve the issue; frustrating as all we can see is your face and a fork. But, the camera likes you bro, just a little adjustment needed!🎉
Wynn is the only buffet I have ever tried and it is so good that I will not bother with any other. The charcuterie was so delicious, obvious high quality items. The made to order dumplings were the best I have ever had. 😋
Frankly the LV buffets haven't kept pace with the buffets around the world... LV buffets have gone from a loss leader to having to be a profit center... so the offering suffer greatly... Having said that, the unit costs of the items at this buffet look cheap... almost very cheap... The seafood was just ok... I would avoid the entire Asian section as that looked meh at best... go to Spring Mt Rd and get much better for less... The roast and meat section looks like every other buffet in LV... overall, nothing stands out... I'd give it a pass...
I still give the nod to bacchanal because the carving board offerings are a bit better. But I love going to wynn and rarely go to caesars so I still end up going to wynn more often.
That charcuterie/cheese looked so good. I love when places have a good selection of that kind of stuff. I'd get distracted just making sandwiches, lol.
Considering the crazy food prices in general in Las Vegas, I think $75 for a buffet is a reasonable price. Especially considering the incredible seafood they have. My local buffet stopped carrying crab legs entirely.
thank you for the great review. definitely looks less hectic than the bacchanal buffet. question - did you need to make reservations like bacchanal? once again thank you.
I did have a reservation for 2:00 pm. There is a line for prepaid reservations. I arrived about 1:45 pm and was seated at about 2:05. Thanks for watching!
So I took your advice after watching this video and watched the Baccanal buffet video and it looks like the Wynn buffet is far superior to the Baccanal. There is no way I would ever go to a buffet because I couldn’t eat a quarter of what you ate but it sure was fun watching you stuff your face! Thanks, Jordan. Great video!
I just went to the Bacchanal Buffet, and I’m waiting to try The Buffet at the Wynn next. The food was good quality that’s the pro, the con I do agree it’s a rat race and the time restriction is a burden on enjoying your food. Also I have to add the room was really warm and it made it uncomfortable while eating our food. Maybe that’s Bacchanals tactic for people to load up on beverages that leads to a premature fullness.
Great video Jordan absolutely enjoy everytime your on but for me and just me and my lovely wife it’s a definite pass in buffets for us but great job an away just not are thing
Actually it’s not that bad a price at all. Unlimited, high quality selection for less than you’d pay per person at 60 percent of the sit-down restaurants on the strip.
@@Djm8520 😂 No, I’ve just been to Vegas a million times. $75 is nothing on the strip, especially at a 5 star hotel. But please tell me more about this horse, I’m intrigued…
Love the Wynn Buffet, better quality and more relaxed... But I always have to go twice in order to try everything. I don't have the ability to eat like I did back in my younger days.
Thanks for pointing out some of the vegan stuff! I think the lack of hand sanitiser is disgusting and don't understand why they wouldn't splurge on having it available.
This was about 2:00 pm, so this was the seafood dinner buffet. The two big differences are going to be the fact that before 1:00 pm all of the breakfast offerings will still be out, such as eggs, bacon, pancakes, the omelet station, etc. After 1:00 pm that stuff is all gone, and there are a lot more seafood dishes like the stuffed sole that I showed, the hot seafood items, etc. Thanks for watching!
There's a two hour time limit but unlike Caesars I've never heard of them asking someone to leave right at two hours. They wouldn't let you stay forever, but they're not clock-watching at Wynn like they are at some of the others...
Any word on the B buffet. I was there January 2020 . It was just as Covid hit. It was incredible. Food from any place on earth. Any one know if its coming back?
I ate at the Wynn Buffet in January 2024. I was surprised that my $80 buffet had poor service. My waiter ignored me on one pass and when I got up and asked him, he didn't recall what I had asked of him. I had to ask two different other waiters to fetch me the extra napkin, fork, butter, small saucer, etc. Oh, that's the reason I don't like male waiters. They always have this ego about them and they go about as if this is a chore and not a pleasant service. Their bad vibes come across to customers, believe me. Females tend to be more gracious and less egocentric. The place looks nice. The food was very good and was cooked perfectly. One can tell the food was prepared with care. I loved the prime rib, mac cheese with/ truffles, the cheese section, Mexican bean section. Beverage drinks were provided royally, be it orange juice, soda, coffee, whatever, The dessert section was good but looked had limited selections. I went there on a Tuesday. The offering was a lot for any stomach but, for $80, it wasn't super sumptuous. It was a good meal but expensive for a buffet, but, considering that regular Vegas restaurants were really more pricey, this was a pretty good deal for unlimited good food, well, except for the poor service. My stomach was totally satisfied walking out and I didn't feel upset with bloated gas like I do at many buffets. They don't serve walk-ins. The restaurant was sold out 1 week ahead so I had to reserve and prepay in advance.
I heard at the Caesar Palace Bacharrel buffet. You only have an hour and 30 minutes to eat??? is there a certain time you could stay eating? Like do they only give you two hours to eat and that’s it?
That’s correct there is a 90 minute limit at Caesars, and it is enforced. At Wynn the time limit is 2 hours and they are not as strict. That said, 2 hours is plenty of time at Wynn because it isn’t nearly as crowded. Thanks for watching!
It's all opinion, of course, but I did both Bacchanal and Wynn within a week of each other, and Bacchanal is my choice by far. The crab legs are considerably larger and I found the selection of items to be better. Plus, the Wynn seemed to keep running out of certain things, and you'd have to wait for them to replenish. For my money, I'm going to Caesars.
Is that all of the seafood on offer and all of the sushi that looks super small for Vegas? I'm trying to pick between Wynn and Bacchanal. My group is big into Asian food and Seafood, so which one would be better? We are going to a buffet on Tuesday night if it makes a difference.
The Asian was definitely better at Bacchanal. The seafood is about even. If that’s your main focus Caesars is probably better. But for the overall experience we’d recommend Wynn.
No, but they have a pretty good food court for pizza, crepes, salads, and sandwiches. The buffet was taken over by Martha Stewart restaurant. Bobby Flay also set up his burger place, which smelled and looked really good 👍
A pretty distant third. We haven’t had the Bellagio dinner buffet in a few years, but we did have brunch there in 2021 and from what we’ve seen it’s nowhere even near Bacchanal or Wynn.
I think the Bellagio buffet has pulled itself up by its bootstraps. It’s definitely improved over the last couple years. Our last trip to Bellagio at the end of December, we ate dinner at the buffet twice! 😉👍
Nope, the Wynn is meh, little selection, almost the same price, food is not better, and I don't care what the restaurant looks like, it is ALL ABOUT THE FOOD!
Why don't you set the standard and go against the so called observation norm that you try to think is appropriate. Under neath you know you have psych tension and your covering up insecurities. You don't look as credible nor respectable.
This is the best buffet review I’ve ever seen! Excellent job! Thank you very much for trying practically everything! I love that you compared with Panda Honey Walnut Shrimp too. And now I’m hungry for this Wynn Buffet!
I remember back in the day..when Wynns buffet just opened... as it was good.. The Bellagio buffet was far superior & cheaper! But we're talking mid 2000s... when Bellagio buffet was like $33.95pp had split KING crab.. steak tartare (which was divine) roasted rabbit.. lamb chops..all the normal stuff on carving station..and incredible creme brulee.. (this was June 2009 at $35pp) apparently Bellagio buffet has went down..but it was by far the best buffet in Vegas... the best Brunch buffet around that time was Monte Carlos brunch that included endless champagne/ mimosas... or the legendary Sterling Brunch at $65pp at the time. I miss the old days 😢😢😢
