For real, it would be a slight update that doesn't take away from the vanilla feel of MC (which really matters to a lot of people for some reason) but for the builders here would be the greatest update. Vertical slabs would make so many builds look better.
@@kaleycooper9111Actually, the last update for Decocraft was about 3 months ago. It supports up to 1.18.2. The mod seems to have changed a lot since I played it back in 1.7.10 tho lol
Since these are for Forge, here's some similar ones which work on Quilt and Fabric! Bits & Chisels - Pretty much exactly the same as Chisels & Bits Charm - A vanilla-like mod, very similar to quark, which adds a lot of small things. Supplimentaries is another option Aurora's Decorations - A furniture mod which, in my opinion, is your best bet for Fabric & Quilt modding. It even focuses on mod compatability, so if a mod you have adds new wood or stone variants, the furniture will come in those variants too!
macaws furniture glitches in some versions.. can’t figure out why but I call them cursed chairs bc they tp me to a cave everytime i click shift to get off it xD still a beautiful mod tho!!
I always preffered Little Tiles over Chisels and Bits, as it allowed the blocks to be even smaller than just a 16th of a block, besides, Chisels and Bits lags very much. But i recently found a copy of it, called Bits and Chisels, which aims to fix that issue. And it does - i haven’t encountered a crash or any lag ever since i switched to that mod.
A great texture pack for building if your unsure about using mods is “better vanilla building” if you have optifine with it then you can get blocks to mesh together!
Paladin's Furniture (what it sounds like) and Every Compat (if you have modded wood varieties, it applies those textures to various other items -- like beds in Paladin's) are some of my faves as well.
YES, thank you so much. These are the mods that I have always wanted to use because I grew up watching RU-vidrs use these and now I finally have the names of these mods so thank you!!
While not considered mainly as a decoration mod, Create adds a bunch of decoration blocks that have the vanilla color and texture style. They work so well with vanilla blocks to make easy to use but beautiful palettes. My main problem with mods like chipped that add insane amounts of block variants is that most of them don't really fit in with the game because of their color shades and textures.
You in your beautiful mansion with every mod active: "What do you think then?" Your friend who joined without a single one on: "Ew. Why are you proud of this?" It's legit a wood block."
Little tiles is now getting updates again and is far better. Sadly can only be used on embedium for shaders and some mods like season mods crash it. Its not perfect but its better because of what it offers like custom doors that actually open and close. Custom chests with the same functionality. Ect.
Yesss I’ve always wondered why they don’t let you make stairs and slabs from terracotta!! One of my favorite building materials because it’s pretty and harder for creepers to blow up 😅
I personaly love the aesthetic and feel of building in vanilla Minecraft. The shifting through the creative menu trying to find the perfect color combinations with the limited blocks. The trying to use weird random blocks to simulate more organic and complex shapes. The spending WISHING THE CRAB WON THE MOB VOTE.
Don't forget, quark also gives you a simple way of placing blocks both on the edge of and immediately below the block you're standing on, which is a super game changer in survival so you don't have to do as much pointless scaffolding!
I see the frame mod in "create" so i think it's not that special, but create in this scenario has more freedom, vertical stairs, trapdoors, slopes and so much more, so i'd recomend create, btw create also has al kinds of contraptions
