I’m reading through all these comments and replies to comments, and I’m dying laughing at what people are saying 😂😂 If you’re going to say something, make sure you know what you’re talking about. To the person that said the c walk was inspired by “African war dance” the people acting hard like they are a real crip or blood, the people saying the gangs are just all about drugs, poverty, and violence, you should all check your history first. The only thing I’m going to say is that the crips started from the black panthers, which was a group of African Americans the policed the cops around the 50’s and 60’s. When the panthers fell apart, the crips were born. Later down the line violence and drugs got introduced, and then the bloods were born to provide protection against the crips. My point is, if you don’t actually know the history, then one you are most likely not affiliated with either gang, or at least you shouldn’t be if you don’t even know where you come from as part of a gang. Second, crips were not always drugs, violence and other things, and the bloods came after it turned to that to provide protection against the crips, and then came the rivalry. And just FYI, I am not claiming either gang. I’m not a blood or a crip, so don’t mistake that. I am just very knowledgeable in many topics, and subjects.

Clement Joubert in the US the gangs are taken seriously, and the bloods (red) and crips (blue) are rivals. In this video you see the two having a sort of “dance competition” which makes it obvious that this was from a foreign country because anyone in the US that is aware of gangs wouldn’t do that. There’s a lot a depth and history to them, but basically since they’re rivals if you do the C walk in the wrong place and a Blood sees you, you’d get shot by them because it’s a lot more serious and violent than people who aren’t from the US think. Outside of the US its viewed more as a passive/nonviolent rivalry I’m guessing? But if you dressed like that and did those dances in any areas where a rival gang member may be, you could get shot. They’re not the only gangs too, just the most famous, but in many American schools you can be punished if you show up to school wearing clothing that is deemed related to gangs because it’s seen as dangerous so hopefully that helped to explain
