I had Guinea pigs for my daughter growing up 40 years ago. And now I’m an 80yo grandma and I’m thinking about getting piggies for myself. They are SO CUTE!!! I have learned so much from your videos. Not quite ready to take the big step. So much to consider, especially their habitat. Thanks for the great informative vids!
I am just now getting my piggy’s and their names are going to be sketty noodle and squeegee, but I really appreciate your tutorials and would love to see more, so thank you so much your so helpful +I subscribed😁👍
I haven’t got any piggies at the moment but love watching your videos, they are giving me ideas for when I eventually get some piggies of my own. All of your piggies look so happy 😊😊
I have officially adopted ‘Henlo peebles’ as my greeting of choice! Brilliant video as ever, always have to watch a few times to catch all the chat but also learn a new tip or two each time. Lovely to see everyone getting on well! x
I've just got two very shy very skittish piggies. I'm watching pretty much every one of your videos a) for tips and b) because my piggies seem to adore your videos. As soon as your voice comes on they start chuttering, running about and playing! Its the least shy I see them! Idk what it is, they're not too keen on other youtubers though. And as soon as the ads come on, silence 😂
I have a few waterproof liners that i made to fit inside my boys cardboard tube - don't stay brilliantly in place but helps protect it from all that poo and wee!! xx
If you eat a lot of old fashioned oatmeal, the containers work great as guinea pig tunnels, just pull the plastic ring off the top and cut out the bottom :)
Sara i love your shows im a newby got mine in march and already get so much Out of them george fred albous and haggy. Yup they are rascals. But so diffret. Please dont stop your shows.
My two piggies love large cardboard tubes! I don't know about the UK, but in the US rolled oats often come in large cardboard canisters. Once I have an empty one, I cut out the bottom and give it to the piggies and it's the perfect size. :)
Oh my you have sooo many guinea pig accessories! I’ve only had my piggies for about a year and a half and I know that overtime this will definitely be me! 😅
I have two piggies I have had for 3-4 years, and in June I'm driving to get them a new skinny pig brother! I'm making a lot of fleece stuff for them to cuddle up in and stay warm, especially the skinny pig. I'm so excited!!
All of your cozies are so unique and look so soft! I admit, as much as I love hearing you talk, I lost what you were saying in the last couple of minutes because I was obsessed with Pedro in the right hand corner in his cuddle house. He is so cute!
I absolutely loved this video. It was very to the point and I definitely would like to make a video along the lines of yours. Your videos are always so enjoyable.🤗
I really like yourcosy items. We'll be getting our own piggies in autumn and I'd love to sew some cosies for them myself. Could you maybe do a tutorial on some of them? Your cage video series is so helpful already!!
Love all your piggy accessories. Especially the slipper bed. I'm always making my boys their cuddle sacks, tunnels and liners. I'd love to know how to make the slipper bed. Love your videos.
I have 2 edible tunnels that are open at the bottom, so no worries about pee and poop. 😉 It would also be nice to see some DIY video's on how you made the liners and cozy beds 😉
You should definitely start a like online store on all these cozy hide out I bet you would make a big amount of money because the ones that you have are like so cute and they’re probably very well-made
I love your videos as they’re so educational with so many great ideas. Just in the last week, between my daughter with her husband and my 3 grandkids, her best friend, and me with my roommate, we ended up rescuing 9 young piggies between a breeder getting out of the business, a pet store with unexpectedly too many baby piggies that if they weren’t gone they were going to a kill shelter, and a humane society with too many. My daughter took 4, her best friend took 3, and my roommate & I took 2. My roommate over the years since childhood had a single piggy 3 times and is so excited to have them again. It’s going to be fun especially with our senior dog Jack not being so active.
Thank you for the great video! I currently have one guinea pig, but i’m going to get her two friends in the not too distant future, as well as a beautiful cage like yours!! Pedro is looking so much better!!! 😁
Thanks Sarah. With seven piggies, mine gave so many things! Love changing the cage around to make it more fun for them. I would love a plushy heart like yours and sure the piggies would really like that. The willow bridges are great and J in always have one somewhere in the cage. Mine love their hammock which is the same as yours. I pop a tiny cushion in too which they love and saves washing the hammock fleece quite so often! 😊xx
This channel is so helpful I got 2 piggies Last Friday and I adore them waiting for a bigger cage but love that idea of a Litter tray definitely gotta keep that in mind thank you so much!!
It would be amazing if you were able to sell your special fleece liners ❤ maybe even different size varieties like how you have for different habitat areas!
You made the hooded beds?! I always thought you must’ve bought them. I would loooove a tutorial! I really didn’t want to buy some and not have them match my other DIY things.. 🤭
This was a fantastic video! Thank you for doing this! As for your heart - I think that would be a wonderful idea! My piggies sleep on very small soft pillows I found at our local 99 cent store - like your heart pillow but is like a 6 inch square. They use it like a pillow for their head or for their body. So def. consider making something! :) I'd buy one!!
I'm thinking about making my two boy piggies a little blanket material hideout like you did!! Great idea!! Also I'm thinking about getting a clear water dispenser and fleece bedding, very helpful video!! 🐹
I'm hoping to adopt some piggys next month, have a c and c cage on order, so I've been binge watching your videos. I'm going to attempt to make some fleece liners but there's just so many decisions to make it's so overwhelming 😅 hay, food, toys etc thank you for such lovely videos x
When you said you use fleece for the bedding because, could you also use it outside or not because they're outside pets? I'm getting them tomorrow and I'm SOOOOOOO excited! Can't wait for more biggie adventures!! xx
I literally JUST came across this channel and I already love it. I’ve been researching guinea pigs a lot lately because for the past couple months I’ve wanted one. I get bored easily and I clean when I’m bored so the cage cleaning won’t be a problem and I serious want to spend all my money to spoil them. Do you have any tips on how I can convince my parents to get two for me? I’m willing to do anything for the cute little floofs
Thank you for subbing! Best advice for convincing parents is showing them that you are ready to take on the responsibility, know everything about their care (check out routine videos etc) and also to make your parents of everything the piggies will need :)
Thanks for the tour. I love how you put the little quotes near the Guinea pigs and do the close up shots. They’re all so adorable. I sew and I don’t have Guinea pigs yet but I used to make all my own rat accessories. I was thinking about sewing items to sell as I also make kids clothing but the restrictions and insurance/standards to purchase and testing are far too high to ever be profitable on a small scale. Do you create your own patterns for these items or do you use bought patterns?
It was nice seeing everything for your Piggies, I would say be careful with the log rolls at the end as some of them contain seeds and I would be worried about their heads getting stuck You have some lovely fleece items and your good at making them
Thanks yeah, they have millet in - I think the pigs are okay to enjoy this occasionally as a treat (like one a year) - I then use the wood rolls to stuff with hay, they also like chewing the bark off :)
Dear Sarah, Julia of little adventures has a dog pillow which she gave her piggies that looks similar to your heart pillow and they liked it 😊 Guess it has to be washable to be approved for piggies daily use 😅 P.S: Your cuddleitems look very cosy. The piggies surely love them! :)
I have made an old version here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SDXPufp4Irs.html But I will have to get around to doing an updated one at some point 😊
Can I use coroplast(corrugated) for the bottom and all around the cage as a barrier? Also if I use wood material to make barrier around the cage, will piggy chew on them?
Hi! Omg Im getting 2 piggies next week! And I was so confused on what to do and what to get but I only watched your videos and caught on so quickly! Im getting a 30x60 cage for my 2 piggies but i cant find any good (cheap) fleece liners can you recomend any?
I love you videos!Everything in here is great!I need to get more fleece items.I was wondering how is the size of this?: I have a 2x5 C&C,currently has 2 pigs but yesterday had 3 (One passed yesterday
Where do you buy the little mini ones to go under the water bottles? I’m looking at using chenille bath mats, but not sure what I would put underneath to adsorb everything
