With video, the difference between crop sensor and full frame (as long as the lighting is correct) is indistinguishable for 99% of people. The biggest difference between them now is full frame is better for low light situations, especially for photography. So if you are someone looking to do duel usage (photo and video) look more into full frame. If you are just starting out and just want to do video, crop sensor is definitely the move. Also, Team Canon😏
You mean to tell me spending $700 more on a full frame camera and $1000 more on a full frame lens won't automatically make me $69,000 this year because its full frame vs crop sensor?!
@@BigE Yeah that's what he's saying becos we have been baked into believing full frame or nothing else. But trust me, if they know how many RU-vidrs are rocking their channels and professional stuff still using APSC cameras and even iphone cameras with gimbals, people will be shocked. But then again, does gear matter? OR the work output is everything?
If anyone wants to invest in Canon instead of Sony I would recommend the M50 Mk2 or the R50. The M50 Mk2 has a nice lense variety but has a massive crop in for 4k. The R50 doesn't have a crop in at 4k... but the lenses are more expensive and not many available yet without needing an adaptor.
Love the down to earth view your giving. Totally agree with the throw your $$ opinions.. But nice reviews of aspect on your love of Sony. And yes lighting!!! Keep giving some sweet advice from your view. Your mind is worth the time to listen.
*I have well when I started RU-vid I used a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX80, then too GoPro's an then Panasonic and then BACK to Sony, and it started with the a6400 & Sony ZV-1 and NOW I'm using a ZV-E10 and FX30 and I love them both and I use a Sigma 16mm f1.4 and Sony 11mm and I love it, Only thing I want now is a G Lens equivalent to My Sigma 16mm*
I’ve thought about picking up the fx30 myself as a second shooter just because in most cases people will never know that you are stacking it with the fx3
I find it funny in 2024 when people say I don't have the equipment to start live streaming or I don't have the equipment to start youtube. You go your smartphone shoots 4K video that's better videos than most creators started with. Some people are good at short form content While others are good at long-form content. You just got to find out what you're good at and be consistent. Sitting back saying until I get X Y and Z Equipment I'm not going to start making content like if you want to stream video games your Playstation or Xbox will allow you to stream to Twitch super easy you could use your headphone mic. You can record videos on your smartphone edit them on your smartphone upload them to RU-vid and there you go you have 4K time lapse slow motion so again just start creating content
Word on the street is a7S line is done, and it'll just be FX3 mk2. I use a7IV professionally for interior design/architecture photography as well as videography. It's a beast. That being said, putting together kit for buddy of mine starting his own thing with youtube doing outdoor/overlanding stuff. Having trouble on which to suggest between ZV-E1, a7IV, a7CII, or Lumix S5IIX.
It makes sense. Sony makes way too many different kinds of cameras with the same sensor. The only cameras that make sense is a6700, a7iv, fx30, fx3, a7rv, & a9iii. The A1 is arguably just a competition to canon, the a7cii was supposed to be the portable a7iv more for vlogging and content... but they have the zv1???? Makes no sense. This is how you can tell people have too much money😊
The only thing that keeps me from personally recommending the ZV-e10 is just that it's very specifically designed to be a video camera, even more so a VLOGGING camera, but the rolling shutter on it is genuinely so bad that it's a huge disappointment and feels like it fails at the one thing it's supposed to be for. Everything else about it is great, I heard they are planning on possibly making a revision / mk 2, so I'd be interested to see if that really 1 issue was improved, and if it'll be at a reasonable cost.
Great video👌🏻 Its good to see someone calling bs on what everyone else pushes to new content creators. If I listened to the past 5 videos I just watched, I would have gone out and spent $1500
Elgato Facecam Full HD Streaming Web Camera is how much better than a Logi Cam? Like from 1 as the lowest and 10 the highest? what number would you say.
Hello Mr Big E I can't tell you how many times I've watched this video I keep coming back to it because of how good this video is my ? is how mic are you using I just got the sony zv-e10 and wanted to know what mic I use get for it. thanks
Just one question man I'm really really considering buying this camera, and the overheating issue is messing with my head, I shoot video almost 2-4 times a week and there mainly short films for IG reels should I be worried Talking about ZV E1^
Dawg, I really appreciate this honesty. My iPhone 11 has been causing me so many issues recording long form video lately and my inner tech nerd keeps looking at cameras that are more than what I need. lol. Thanks for bringing to reality
