That's awesome! Appreciate you taking the time to check this video out and for dropping a comment, Alexandru. And I'm sure you are going to love this camera, it's such a beast!
Thank you so much for watching and for your question, Tim! I've linked all of my equipment in the description box of this video, if you want a direct link. The white microphone is a Blue Yeti USB mic that you can plug directly into your laptop and record in GarageBand for example. I use it for all of my YT videos and for my podcast. It's super versatile and fairly economical as well. Unfortunately Blue Yeti no longer carries the white color (to my knowledge), but has a variety of colors that may interest you. I pick up mine from Amazon where I've linked the mic to, and with Prime, it arrived in a matter of a couple days. I hope that helps!
Bonjour! Neal!
Loved your video, I was in between the mark ii and the mark iii…the price difference is 3k…I bought it for $3k new as I do not trust used cameras…I did call csnon first to ask the differences, ‘they said the image quality you would not. Notice’, …that was enough for me…
Thank you so much for watching and for your question man! I use a LUT of my own that I've made. I'd recommend Color Finale and mLUT for working with a video in post. I hope that helps!
I do still use it for YT and client work. I think ultimately it’s a tool. Like any tool you get what works for what you need to do and what works for you. ☺️
Appreciate you stopping by the channel and watching, and thank you for your comment! I agree man, this is such an essential camera and really does it all. Hope you enjoy yours!
Hi Neal + all... I shoot 100% stills, and some say the 1dx and 1dxii are almost identical for stills in quality, what are your opinions? IF there is minimal quality + handling differences, then people can (almost) get 2x 1DX bodies for the same price as a 1DXii body in some places... not sure what route to take yet.
Neal, Question: everything is telling me buying an R6 is the “right move,” however when one factors in the awesome RF lenses are so expensive I could never afford them anyways, and they’re so massive it negates the size advantage. Why make the jump (eye af, more af point coverage, and silent shooting?). I feel like a 1DX with a 50mm 1.2 (which is what 1/30th the size of the new 50mm 1.2?) is a better setup than the R6 with a battery grip and a 35mm 1.8 or 50mm 1.8 for photography. What am I missing???
Joey, thank you so much for watching man! Appreciate you stopping by the channel and for sure, you can always find me on IG: nealjolly or back on here, and I'll check out your work as well!
Hey man, thanks for watching! I'd say you go with it if that price point works for you and it is indeed in great (authenticated if possible) working condition. It seems like a fair price to me though, hope you enjoy your 1DX Mark II!
@@arthgupta231 i own the camera for close a year now. I am regreting the buy. Especially cause i paid full price. The camera makes fun. But the lack in videospecs hits hard in 2020. Maybe you test the camera first before you buy it. My thinking is that for travelphotography there are better options. It takes nice photos for sure. But its heavy. And it makes people look at you. If i imagine traveling the last thing i want is people going on my nerve and carriying this beast around on hot days 😅
