01/15/24 UPDATE : After using this lens protector for more than 3 months; going through heavy drops, tossing my phone around the gym 5 times a week; It FINALLY cracked ! My camera lens is in mint condition, and I’ve been very happy with the quality of this lens protector. I’m definitely ordering another one 🔥 your mileage of course will vary lol
lol nope, if I did, I would def disclose that info. I do however get a small commission if you go through my links (I humbly appreciate the support) I’ve tried so many lens protectors, these are the type of lens that I feel last the longest, and look the best. I just chose the first lens that checked all the boxes, it could be any brand, just make sure it has aluminum and the spacing I was talking about
U should get the clay silicone case for both unless u got them already so cool I got the same black lens on my 14pm purple and it’s way better until I get my 15pm or 16pm lol.. I just got my 14 few month ago
i recorded a video and when i played it back. the video had a green line on the side of the video. i took it to apple they said it was the lens protector screwing with the camera sensor or something
@@FIREWOLFTECH seems ok now im gonna get the lens protector that comes with the single pieces instead of the ones that cover up the sensor with the flashlight. ill update to see if that will cause a problem
These have caused focus issues in the past. I've owned all kinds of phones over the past years, haven't damaged a camera lens yet. Just my opinion, but i dont think these are necessary and do impact image quality.
Not confident: If you plan on reselling a perfect phone... don't take off the manufacturers mallable clear cover. Trim it and use a waterproof case. Thumb print and face recognition are not available. Increase tactile sensitivity. Confident: If the clear on the lens ring is an issue,... think of popping it out. I need the rings to match my case and ring holder. I heard that the lens obstructs (moisture, scratch, and curvature) when using the phone to take q codes & photos. I'm going to use E 6000 bearly applied ( press down to seal underneath ring, but not expose edges. Wipe it off. Keep ring level and in place untill tack. Read glue lable. However, if you expect underneath to be undamaged, DON'T USE E-6000. I hear that factury glue tape won't stick, and that when it does, it leaves a residue. If you're worried about that... remove it. THEN, use a glue that is low temperature and rpremoves completely. Wipe with alcohol before it dries. Apply with a toothpick. Some are saying that the gems from the ring get removed or scratched. Try applying a high-quality clear nail gel and cure it with the lamp. It has to be applied carefully and cleaned off of anything you don't want...PERFECTLY before you cure it. Moisture under the lens cover is another issue. Install in a dry, have HVAC on in room to dry air, then turn off air before installation. Blow dust(with new syringe) before cleaning, then completely drying lens with appropriate (no lint/dust cloth) eyeglass cloth. The seal must be complete to keep moisture out. Heat from the phone and moisture from trapped air will cause the lens to fog. OR Buy a protected one from an Etsy crafter.
@@cloudchaser9951 yea thats what I was thinking and degrade the quality which might help with the shsrpness but not worth the cameras pretty strong since the iphone 12 the back will shatter screen might crack but you never see the camera destroyed on these phones unless your a RU-vidr and purposely slaming your phone and dropping it a 100 times
@@WargodFilms I actually went to buy a different brand protector called spigen. A german company. It resolved the issue, ever since i put it on. No more green lines in my videos.
I can promise you they are needed buddy. Maybe not in the office at Microsoft but out here in the real world doing concrete yeah you need them. I broke 2 lenses so you don’t know what your talking about buddy.
