What ended up with the whale? Did it get away when the tide came? Also what snorkelling gear do you use (diving knife, , snorkel, spear gun ,flippers, wetsuits
He got stranded at the start of the run out tide so I would say that by the time the tide got high enough for him, he probably would of been exhausted, not to mention the sharks you can already see circle and it in the video. The beach was also closed the next day so I guess we can draw some conclusions from that. Cressi mask, seac fins, adreno wetsuit and just a cheapy knife and spear gun from a random fishing shop.
Sorry for your loss ❤ and I thank you for sharing your honest journey the content is wonderful from a lovely couple. (Living vicariously through you atm ahaha ) safe travels 🙏🏼
Our Australia Trip, your latest episode exploring the best camps on Ningaloo Station was simply captivating! It's evident that you're truly embracing the off-grid camping experience and showcasing the beauty of Western Australia in such an authentic and engaging way. Your episodes are not just travel stories; they're a reminder of the beauty of life and the world around us. Keep up the amazing work, and I'm looking forward to your next adventure! 🌄🚐💛
You two look like you are definitely living your best lives! So sorry about the loss of your Grandfather. ❤ Thank you for sharing an epic, memorable episode.
Some happy and sad moments in this episode. What a beautiful part of Aus, 5 weeks in this special magic place 😊. Poor baby whale 😢😢. So happy to see you catch up with Deryck and Sue. I’m so sorry about Grandad Bluey, (what a great name) good that you could get home to be with your family ❤️.
Absolutely Robyn, and it was quite a difficult one to make. It was good to be there with the family and Bluey was an absolute legend in every right. ❤️
We really enjoyed it, very filling. Unfortunately our table manners were shocking and we were both describing it with full mouths so decided to leave it out...😅
Thanks Vicki, he got stranded around the start of run out tide so there was still quite a while before the water level got high enough for it to be moved. You can see in the video the sharks are already circling it and it was too windy to put the drone up the morning we left, so I think it’s pretty safe to say the circle of life happened there on the reef 😢
The kedron kids, another Stella episode guys. So sorry to hear about Bluey mate, always difficult time when you hear news like that. That poor whale. Would be so hard to see when there is nothing you can do. Loved this episode! Your both so confident going so far out. I hope we can do the same when we get around to see that side! Keep up the great work team!
Thanks LT fam ❤️ it was pretty awful to see honestly but a raw part of life. You guys will be fine, hopefully might even get a few pointers along the way 😉🙏🏼
Great drone footage of Ningaloo Reef & the whales. Condolences for your grandad. My hubby’s Nan also just passed away whilst we’re travelling so we’ve had to drive to Cairns so he can fly back to Sydney in the next couple of days.
Thanks guys and sorry for your loss also. It is pretty hard on the road but thank God for Starlink. Otherwise we may have never known and missed the funeral altogether. Sending our thoughts ❤️
Awww Brad heartfelt sadness for you losing your Grandad. My dad passed away last October and our son Riley watched his farewell online whilst living in his Troopy in Exmouth. Hard call but as long as your heart is in the right place, it doesn’t matter where you are in the world, love will always rule. Cherish the memories m. x💛
Jeez respect for finishing the video under those circumstances guy's. RIP Bluey. Exmouth (been several times) can be windy but with that peninsular you can always be in a out of the wind somewhere.
Enjoy your videos guys, you do a great job. Sorry to hear about the sad news about a family member. On a lighter note, I follow Derick and Sue and it's great to see the Caravanning/Travelling culture sticks together. Safe Travels. Pm
Sorry for your loss, Prayers for you two and the family. Just letting you know, you guys have become the rock in mine and my daughters foundation planning our Perth to Broom coastal road trip in March 2025. I enjoy watching your travels and love the adventure drive you both throw out there!
Thanks Michael, this is so motivating for us to hear. What an epic trip that will be for you guys 🙌 We appreciate you tuning in & thanks for such a positive message 😀
Sincere condolences for your lose, good to get back to see your family at this time. Hope that you'll continue your adventure in the near future. Mother nature can be cruel and it was sad to see that poor stranded whale. Don't know about the back of your haircut (should have squared it off). Keep the dream alive.
Hi Brad and Hayley. Sending our condolences on the loss of your dear Bluey. Never easy to lose someone you love ❤ we are long time subscribers of your channel and enjoy your videos immensely. Look forward to seeing your next adventures. Safe and happy travels. Cheers Jane and John 🍻🙂

Thanks for another very entertaining video. Our condolences for the sad loss of your Grandfather - he made it to 90, not a bad innings. What a lovely epitaph, very creative and sincere, thanks for sharing.
Hi Robert, and thanks for the kind words. He lived a full life and we are so grateful to have such a strong role model that we can pass those values down to our kids one day.
Great viewing as usual, always look forward to your episodes. So glad you were close to your Grandfather, not everyone has that relationship. Hope you both get through this and are able to continue your journey
Love what you guys do; inspired to take off on our own adventure for 6 months. More dives and hikes; rep them budgies too mate! How do we shout you a beer??
