I LOVE this backpack. My 16" MacBook Pro easily fits in the laptop area. I can pull out my camera without taking off the backpack, and I can pull it out quickly and return it easily. Great review!
Thanks, very detailed :) Somehow for the past 20 years my all camera bags and backpacks were from LowePro (except one Amazon Basics sling). And now I'm looking at this guy (well, the bigger version)
I love this backpack! I can fit 3 normal size lenses in it + 1 long lens attached on my camera and I even have some space left for a small shotgun mic + some batteries. In the upper compartment; I put my Ninja V (inside it's case) bottom flat and there's still enough room for my DJI mini 3 drone and still have some space left! (they sometimes have a deal while buying this backpack, you get a free small tripod with it. - Best backpack you can get for this price / quality.
I have a Fastpack 150 BP AW II (I hope I got the order of that letter soup right), got it in 2019 and really enjoyed it. I cycle a lot (bikepacking) so I got an 8L sling from a brand called Dinamo, pretty good, but two straps are better than one! I also got into the onebagging hype for travel and bought into the trendy Wandrd Prvke 31L with the medium cube. The Wandrd was not for me, I still have it and regret my life choices as it is hard to resell from where I live. I then got a local Brazilian made all leather backpack, it is beautiful, but it is just not functional, and at the end of the day, the size is like of the Prvke. I am now staring again at my Fastpack 150 again.
Looks like a great bag. Still debating whether I’m getting the sling or this one. The one thing that could annoy me with this bag is when opening the camera compartment all the way you have to put the bag flat on the ground (when in the woods will get the bag dirty) and that part will be on your back. If you know what I mean
I own this bag and I love it. You don’t have to put it on the ground. Just take it off your right shoulder and pull it like a sling bag. Very easy to do and it keeps it clean.
