Great work, Ms. Grinch!😸 One of my small colony, The Hobbits, used to greet me by running down the giant old tree they hung out in in my back yard, hissing. i called her Hope and would sing the High Hopes song chorus as she came down making it, "Hi Hope! She's my high Hope!" The fluffy wee tortie was somewhat feeder friendly on her terms! It was discovered that she had Entropion so when we got her for TNR she had eye surgery too. She stayed at a Dallas rescue for over a month to be medicated. When she finally got home i rushed to the car to see her, singing her song and she started meowing. The gal who brought her back started to cry. The whole time she was gone she never made a sound other than a hiss or growl, but when she heard her song then saw me, she reached through the bars of her carrier, meowing at me😿 There wasn't a dry eye there! Thank you for taking care of yours and to have continued to try. That kitty gave you a great Life Lesson, eh? Eventually! Never stop trying...🙏🐾

Oh she was smaller than she looked at first. What a wonderfully sweet girl. So glad she was not pregnant too. Thank you for helping her to her furever home. Side note, I have about ten of those same blankets and my cats love making biscuits on them too.

We rescued a stray in our yard a few years ago and brought her to a no kill shelter (ASPCA Pope Memorial, Concord NH). If we hadn't brought her in for the night she would have frozen to death or been eaten. The look on her face as she curled up on a blanked with one of us after having something to eat was sheer contentment and relief. We named her Love Bug and had her looked over by our vet before bringing her to the shelter. We know she has made someone very happy.
