I gutted both of my cats, sprayed headers with high temp paint, wrapped em. Muffler delete, I only have stock resonator. Sounds absolutely amazing. I just been looking for the muffler straight pipe but I can’t find it so where my muffler was it just dumps out before the bumper straight down. y’all let me know if y’all want a video on it
@@aidenquiles Good to know man, thank you, Do you have any performance parts installed or upgraded? I have the 2012 Mazda 3 2.0l and ive been looking for ways to get my car to pull more horses and torque?
@spooky1882 youre not gunna get much out of this engine to be honest with you, but i have stage 2 intake, headers, catback exhaust, and a tune. Only pushing like 190 hp on this 2.5L engine.
@@aidenquiles that makes sense honestly, if I’m not taking too much time form you I would like your thoughts on a idea I had but I haven’t really looked into to yet, I was thinking maybe I could take a 2012 Mazdaspeed turbocharged engine and engine swap it.
@spooky1882 ive had plans of doing that too! Just havent had the money yet, i think it will fit right up. Just need ms3 ecu as well. Ive seen people put a ebay turbo kit also on the 2.0 and 2.5s, just seems like alot of money to spend on a old 4cylinder when these new cars nowadays already come turbo charged.. in my opinion
@AdamsVirtualRoomhey man from what i’ve seen you gotta get the race pipe for it to be a bolt on, that’s what the corksport website said at least, could be wrong tho
@bryancalo9825 the only issue with owning a non-MazdaSpeed3 is the lack of aftermarket Catback exhaust systems. Only 2 on the market for either the 2.0 & 2.5 Mazda3’s are a Corksport or Magnaflow both sound quite but the Corksport gives you the options of having a catted or non-catted version with the 2nd cat delete with their racepipe which doesn’t throw cel witch is a good option if you live in states the do state inspections like my state does bc you still have the 1st cat. If you get the racepipe version it can get a little raspy but you can opp for a Vibrant brand or any other brand to get rid of it. Otherwise the only other options are building a custom exhaust or straight piping your exhaust. The MazdaSpeed3’s have a ton more options but not everyone can either find a all stock speed3 or afford one. So these are our only options. And to my knowledge the aftermarket doesn’t think anyone would modify a non-speed3 with a I-series 3 or the S-series 2nd gens or 1st gens. Since Mazda decided to quit the speed3 after the 2nd gens for whatever reasons but the new 4th gen does come back with a turbo model but no manual transmission only an automatic. Only the base model non-turbo can come with the manual option 😩
