@@cozysnap I'll second his sentiment. I'm easily put off by most streamers and can only stand a few of them for more than an hour, but you are definitely one of the better ones I've found. Not only that, but most of them don't put nearly the work into this that you just did. Great information, presentation, and style. Keep it up.
I agree here. because it's so easy to say this is the deck list and go play it. but because there are so many different places where you can be in your collection with marvel snap, you need to know what all of the various cards that you can supplement with. in case you don't have a full collection. this is just great work.
Good breakdown but one other tip: Never play all 3 of Cerebro, Mystique, Blue Marvel to one lane. I just destroyed someones Cerebro 2 by Enchantressing all 3 of them at once on t6
2 reasons to put Ironman in your Cerebro 2 deck: 1. Sometimes when you don't draw Cerebro you can ironman a location on turn 5 then Mystique on turn 6 to another to secure at least 12 points in both locations. Also a great alternate wincon for monster island. 2. If you leave muir island empty you can Ironman on turn 5 and then cerebro + mystique that location on turn 6, that's 20 power!
Jeff Hoogland has convinced me that hobgoblin has more utility than iron man. I used to play iron man in mine as a second target for mystique but already having that with blue marvel, I tried the hobgoblin version and I actually do like that more now. Both are great imo.
dude I had no idea how to pilot a cerebro deck and I always wanted to play one. Because of the meta shift, I was this close to quit the game because of the similar decks and all the time I was losing. I used to play a patriot deck main in the previous season and I got up to rank 82 with it. This season, it wasnt working for me anymore and it was so bad that I fell back to rank 40's with it. That's when I found your previous cerebro deck and OH MY GOD! it is fantastic, it has the surprise factor and an unbelievable burst potential, its insane. Because of that cerebro deck, I climbed back to rank 86 because of you. FAN-TAS-TIC deck! and I cannot wait to try this one. You are an awesome creator dude, always thinking outside the box, respect and much love =)
I am speechless. I'd really like to make a comment where I praise your ability on doing videos and guides, but I think everything I could say wouldn't be enough to describe the perfection of this video. Everything is really analyzed in depth. Every point of the deck. I've been through a lot of card games and, consequentially, a lot of deck guides and this is BY FAR the best I've ever watched. This is obviously not the first time that I think that your work is Great, but this video was astounding. Thank you very much. It is always a pleasure to watch your content.

I love the ideas and concepts being Cerebro decks and Cerebro 2 has been the most consistent. However, I have had the worst luck out of all the decks I've played with locations + random scorpion plays. In the new season I definitely will give it another shot.
Excellent breakdown of the deck and gameplay. That hobgoblin vs. patriot game was A+ content. One other tech card that I think gets more interesting with m'baku is lockjaw. Different than most lockjaw decks, he's more of a T5/T6 play here to get another couple of looks at your other pieces that you haven't drawn yet (cerebro/blue marvel/storm) - on T6 a 1 and 2 drop into him is better than a coinflip to find any one of the cards remaining in your deck (not ideal if one of them is mystique) and a way to get another body by shuffling a drawn m'baku back in.
I’m really glad I stuck with this deck. Even after watching the video has a bit of a learning curve. Still I moved up 6 levels easy in about an hour. Once you get the hang of it really easy to tell when to snap and when to retreat.
OMG, I just had the best and funniest match I have ever had thanks to this deck. I went up against a Destroy Deck and the spot in the middle was a Mr Sinister copy spot and I placed Cerebro in that spot so I had 4 Cerebros all at 0 points. I was willing to sacrifice that spot and have basically 40 points left and right. My opponent had beefed up his Nimrod to 8 points and then played Galactus in the middle spot. At first I was liked dam well played you win until I realized that my 4 Cerebro's was now my highest points cards at 0 points. They each boosted each other and I now had 4 Cerebros each with 8 points for a total of 32 points while my opponent only had a single Nimrod at 8 and 3 Galactus at 2 points each for a total of 14 points. I thought I lost and then out of nowhere I had won. That was Amazing!!!
The Losing Report is incredibly helpful, Cozy. Easy to see the wins when all the cards/locations come up with no hiccups. As a learning player, seeing the ways the deck gets beaten also helps me to try and think of other ways to finetune a deck or understand the counters to a deck that are running around in the card pool. Big ups.
As fun as Cerebro 2 is, I find Cerebro 3 to be a lot more consistent. Being able to incorporate cards like Scarlet Witch and Rhino to fix locations if you get 2 bad ones, Leech to ruin your opponent's turn 6 plays, Professor X to lock down a location, Killmonger and Cosmo to shut down zoo and on-reveal decks, Viper to send a problematic card over to your opponent's side and help make sure Cerebro works as it should, Shang-Chi to kill a huge card, Spider-man to lock out a location on turn 5 or 6, etc. Even Quake becomes somewhat useful if your opponent is banking on a location to help them out and you move it somewhere else. I think Cerebro 2 is easier to play but runs into more issues, where Cerebro 3 gives you better control over the match.
@@-Utopia- It could work, for a cheap 1 cost to get Blade on the board and then Ghost Rider for 4 to bring back whatever it discards. Ideally it would hit something expensive so it ends up being more efficient to bring it back with Ghost Rider, but in my experience Blade always hits the last thing I want it to, so it's really up to the RNG gods how well it works every game. But it could be worth trying, for sure.
100% agree, I think Cerebro 3 will become more popular once more people unlock Bast (to boost up Cerebro/Mystique and make them eligible for the buff) and Valkyrie (same reason)
I don't have Mystique, but I got Cerebro, so I've been experimenting with a (somewhat successful) combo of a Cerebro Silver Surfer deck. I put 3-cost 2-power cards all throughout the deck with a few extra cards to compliment them. It's a nice mix because it also gives me a backup plan if I don't draw Cerebro or he gets Enchantress/Rogue-d. Same for if I don't get Surfer or he gets Cosmo-ed.

It's pretty easy to storm 1 location and just play cerebro mystique into the crappy location and win the other 2. I've played a lot of bro 2 and location issues aren't a big part of the experience for me
Managed to pull Cerebro and Mystique in the beginning of this season and made it to infinite again! Loved the C2 list and looked to see if you had made a video on it and this video helped me a ton in piloting it more efficiently and cleanly. Thanks and keep up the great content!
Damn i play Cerebro a lot and knew about blue marvel but never thought of yellowjacket as an enabler für 3 power cards. i knew hes a 2 power for cerebro and can play him first in a location but never thought of downgrading 3 power, thats insane :D also against x mansion its easy to fill it so nothing gets summoned if you have brood or sinister ^^
Well I juat pulled Cerebro just past CL 2000, so now I cam watch this video lol. At the very least playing Cerebro for a little bit will help me understand it from the otherside. Almost everytime I'm playing a Cerebro deck I never realize that's what it is until they kick my ass in turn 5/6 lol.
I won against a Cerebro 2 earlier today with my double agent Titania, turn 5 send to the enemy, turn 6 protect with Aero. She became a huge 9 power and I win the game
Beast is probably the tech that opens up so much. It can reset a Mansion lane, setup Yellowjacket, reboot your 1s and 2s utility... so good from a tinkering standpoint

I got cerebro and mystique in my first hand, so I snapped, then I got X-mansion/ throne room/ and gamma lab, I was so disappointed, super fun deck tho and other than rare cases like that, very consistent, and I don’t have m’baku, brood, or goose!
Thanks for the Video. I was also very disapointed when i saw, that the pass did not include any tokens. I pinned down deadpool and will probably get him ordenary before collecting enough tokens. I think zabu makes likes every 4 drop in the Game much better, But i think i would play him with wong first. Seems pretty good tho.
I can usually tell by turn 3, 4 the latest someone is a Cerebro deck, but it takes a while to get that into your mental checklist. I enjoyed Cerebro a lot, but stopped playing it due to all the locations that brick it, including "positive" ones that add power. Made worse when one doesn't own Luke Cage :( There's also that annoying location that buffs all cards in your hand.
I think the best part about Cerebro decks in my opinion is just how easily they counter a turn 6 leader. They will not be getting nearly as much value out of that Cerebro/mystique combo as you and 9 times out of 10 you beat them handily.

"Consistant"...I draw 2 Cerebros in 10 games lol. It can hurt. Also, the deck has MASSIVE tells. If you drop (3) 2 power units it's pretty obvious lol. I appreciate your analysis but sometimes you just say things that are silly from someone your skill level. 80-100 lvl players 100% know its Cerebro by turn 3/4. If you snap on 4-5 with Bro/mystique is hand they are gone. Immediately lol. Unless they are sitting on a big counter. Despite my bad luck lately, definitely agree it's an amazing deck.
I got lucky Mystique was my first pool 3 card hopefully i can get some good early ongoing cards in pool 3 Update first 2 pool 3 cards Mystique and Cerebro
I still don’t have mystique yet 😢 Also for anyone that’s in pool 3, I found that I usually get a new card every 4th or 5th box. I know the climb can be disheartening but I hope that helped.
I feel like I'm missing something in that second game. You kept mentioning if he professor's you it would be bad but by playing hob on the left you reveal first so it stops his professor play right? It ended up working out either way but that's just what I saw.
Is the video overlay for the gameplay done in post production? The timing is so crisp it looks like a mod. I'd love to have a visual on what's in my deck while playing on PC.
what I've learned trying these decks is that if you're not way up in the season standings you have lots of problems. people aren't playing conventional decks, they're playing random stuff they like
I love Cerebro2, grinded it the last 2,5 weeks to get from 60 to infinite (even without brood or luke cage). one takeaway: even if you have M'Baku, don't run him. run any other 1/2 or 2/2 that does literally anything. i went to invisible women, cause it helps hiding your cerebro plan. M'Baku isn't it in this deck as well, sadly.
