@@ninjaguyYT I demand a source for that buddy. I've read his autobiography like, 5 times. He clearly landed the line, "Its Landin Time" everytime, in perfect American.
My favorite scene about this show is when Butcher almost lose everyone in the team then Hughie come to him and said "Maybe the real boys was the friends we made along all the way" send chills down my spine.
my favorite part is when "the boys are back in town" starts playing and they all put on their old "the boys" gear and strut together in slow motion towards the audience. I stood up and clapped
I have to admit the best scene in The Boys is when Billy says to Homelander, 'I'm gonna butcher you' and then tries proceed as such. But Homelander is unfazed and says, 'The home has finally landed', and is about to kill Billy but then Hughie comes and brings all the boys in and they say 'We are the boys' and they all use their different powers- M.M uses his milk powers and Frenchy uses the french drugs and Homelander is defeated. Gave me goosebumps
In the comics M.M. Does have milk-based powers. He’s a supe, but can only access his powers and stay alive by drinking his mother’s breast milk. He’s forced to stockpile it so he has enough to live.
@@oros321 just because you live in a region where these scenes are censored, doesn't mean someone hasn't been taking their meds. No need to make assumptions, smh But, also, maybe just take a moment and comprehend that they were just making a joke.
Nobody can ever top the emotional performance of Charlie. He’s the one who kept that entire movie together and had one of the greatest character arcs in fiction
you can really tell antony starr was inspired by your acting range when he watched your performance live on set, such an amazing actor, gave us one of the best and most iconic performances on a tv show ever. antony starr was pretty good too
What a performance. The sheer energy and emotion this man brings to the scene causes me to shed a single tear every time I watch it. Give this boy an Emmy.
My favorite moment in the boys was when Homelander was about to kill everyone but then suddenly Dr. Morbius appeared. He said “It’s morbin’ time” and inspired by those powerful words the boys were instantly reinvigorated and together they defeated Homelander. I never could even think that Morbius and the Boys belong to the same universe
@AfterBurnett I mean, we still had people up to this point thinking Homelander was the coolest character in the show so clearly the jaw wasn’t kicked hard enough
Subtle? Vaught News = Fox News. News Anchor = Tucker Carlson. Homelander fans = "delusional" supporters of Tyrants - drawing a perceived line to supporters of conservative or republican leaders. Basically republicans and right wing ideals = bad.
Amazing! Nailing both the smiling and the clapping. Sidenote: you should ask if you can be in every episode, even if just for a split second in a big crowd. No reason why we can’t play where’s Waldo while watching the boys.
The nuanced layers behind character were absolutely delightful. The way you stood there in the crowd is unparalleled in film. You sir are a god damn hero.
This scene almost brought me to tears, his performance was so amazing, I could feel the emotion through the screen. It felt so true and genuine that I could hardly tell it was acting. It felt like I became empathetic, I remember back when I was 8th grade and during a school event I had to clap when the speaker was done. This scene greatly reminded me of that moment and I felt that it was so relatable, his clapping and cheering was done so well that it reminded me of that vivid memory from YEARS ago. Thank you Ross, you'll go down as the best character in the Boys, and the greatest performers in history.
I once heard someone say " the worst thing is when good people see wrong being done and do nothing. That scene was very symbolic of society. A hard truth
I've always loved your character and how you play it. My favorite part is when you said "It's clapping time" and then started clapping all over the screen. I clapped.
When I watched this first time around, I noticed this guy and now that has been proven, hope that in later seasons he can have a more prominent role. You don't seem to understand he is hiding in plain sight, he is probably going to be the next challenger to HomeLander. This video is proof of this. Otherwise this would not have been made, this is teasing this great next villain of the newer seasons. Hope to see soon what is next character is going to bring the show into, probably being like Soldier Boy but even greater and more menacing, see the confidence he struck this is a sign of it truly!
Can you imagine this actor's agent? Whether they suprized him with the role, or he begged them to get him on 'The Boys', they're still as good as agents get. *** congrats to you; I meant step dad guy.
Nah it makes perfect sense in context of his relationship to MM. Step Dad Guy (SDG) has been using homelander's image as a way of bonding with the daughter and he's clearly pretty emotionally invested in homelander in general. MM keeps confronting him and pushing back against what SDG views as both his identity and his relationship with the daughter. SDG internalizes homelander's fascistic rhetoric of "blah blah we're telling the truth and everyone wants to silence us! It's us against the world!" The last straw was MM decking him in the face. He feels powerless and pissed off because MM (representing the majority of society in the framing of homelander's message) just physically attacked his values. SDG sees someone do the same thing to homelander and then gets to see his revenge fantasy play out when the attacker is killed. Tl;dr MM attacked his values and Homelander gave him an outlet for feelings of revenge
It makes sense to the writers of the show because they're Hollywood liberals. This is how they perceive anyone remotely right winged. They make it no secret that they have a deep hatred for anyone who is conservative.
My favourite part was when The Boys all separated but when Billy was about to lose the fight against Homelander all the The Boys came back together and teamed up again and defeated Homelander and Hughie said "We are a family". It made me cry.
