Just bought one of these, had trouble pairing it but your video showed it so simply even I managed it, many thanks. PS, it's a cracking controller too.
Strangely, the vibration feedback on this feels more "organic" than on the pro controller if that makes sense. It feels more alive and realistic to what's going on in the game. I was really impressed. Certainly doesn't feel as "premium", but that's not the point. It's a fantastic cheaper alternative.
I've got the camo version for my sons switch. Tbf it feels really comfortable to hold. I've not used it to comment but my 7 year old loves it. Fed up of the terrible drift issues in the switch. Sent it back to be fixed and still come back drifting 🤷
I bought this today, I was about to order the Pro Controller but I chose this because it had pretty good reviews and it is 3x cheaper. I yet to use it but I was very surprised with how light it is, and the D-Pad doesn't feel as good as I hoped.
This is Really awesome! Now instead of buying a new pair of joycons you can just buy 2 wireless controllers and it will be even better! If this controller works with every console how it says it does I'm definitely buying it! Thanks a lot!
I know this is a late comment but I jsut got this controller for 20£ it's good vibrations is decent feels good in the hand fair to say it's great thank you for this review bro
This does seem like a really cool controller. I’ve got one question though. As the wireless version, does it include HD Rumble? Like with the Joy Cons and Switch Pro Controller?
I've had this controller for about 2 months now, and recently it has started causing power surges in my pc which disables itself and my mouse and keyboard. I also can no longer charge it as when I plug it in nothing happens. I've tried it on other computers and the same thing happens. Would you happen to know how I can fix this issue?
That’s ENaf I bought 2 of these today and one had no sign of life no lights even when connected via USB.. there’s a factory reset button on the back of the controller you’ll need a pin to get to it, after holding down the reset button for a few seconds it came to life.
If I don't touch my controller for about 15 secs it completely disconnects so I have to go into the controller settings area and reconnect it, does anybody know how to fix
Yes mate, it will probably need a charge. Then you have to pair it by pressing a couple of buttons simultaneously from what I remember. The video should tell you what buttons they are
I though these would be total crap. I bought a pair new at 16£ each. Got home. Struggled for 5 minutes to sync them. Well. Really happy with these. They feel good quality. Bit lite but you soon forget that. Great controllers to be fair 100 times better than using the joy con ones. I’m new to the switch and them joy con controllers are awful. The d pad reacts the same as Xbox one so not sure what he’s talking about there? The triggers are strange though. But still you get use to them fast. Playing Mario 8 is flawless with this. So responsive. I’ve had controllers where the sticks don’t let you turn smoothly and first person shooters are impossible to play BUT these controllers work perfectly in that respect. Well worth 16£ for a wireless one 👍🏻
Anyway to have this synced without re syncing everytime i switch the switch on. Also i never seem to get it to connect via usb whenever the switch is docked any help?
? I’ve not had that problem. That’s really annoying. I plugged them in the first day I got these. Yesterday lol. Let them sync for 5 minutes then just unplugged them. Done. All I do to sync them once the switch is off is just hold the home button down till controller comes on and starts flashing then it re syncs on its own. That’s it. Not had to recharge them yet so can’t tell you about that. Just assume you plug them in any usb power source 🤷🏻♂️
@@SaucyBegger25 oh wow so let me just get this right, just press and hold the home key until controller turns on and it re syncs it self wow i never knew that. And the usb that comes with the controller i just plug that into the switch and connect it to the pad and leave for 5mins? Do i just plug it in while the switch if off or on. Thanks again for that tip
@@Omar22553 hi, just tried my controller for you and if the switch is off it doesn’t sync but if you turn the switch on either docked or not THEN hold the the button down that has a little house on it till the lights on the controller cycle, give it ten seconds then it will connect and have one steady light on and rumble once 👍🏻 when I bought my controller I tried to sync it but it wouldn’t so I just plugged the cable that came with the controller into the side of the dock station and the other end into the controller. It just kept cycling the lights and did nothing else. But I unplugged the usb cable from the controller and it then stopped cycling the lights and had one steady light on and rumbled. Then it worked just fine and has ever since. Every time I want to use the controller now all I do is turn on the switch then hold the home button down on the controller for ten seconds then it’s ready 👍🏻
The wireless version should be ok, but the wired one won’t as it needs to be plugged directly in to the dock, which the Lite doesn’t have. Hope this helps
Try holding the home button and share button for a few seconds to see if it goes in pairing mode. If that doesn't work try holding the home button and the options button. Sorry I can't check on the controller as I gave it away.
The motion control is shit I can’t even finish the tutorial on the ball galaxy (in Mario galaxy) because the motion control is inverted and sometimes it drifts don’t I repeat don’t buy this shit controller
