I just came here to say I made this and followed your exact recipe. I made this 2 days after you uploaded this and my family loved it! I’m 18 years old and learning to cook on my own even though my mom taught me she was super proud of me and the casserole left immediately!

I made this today. It's currently in the oven. I just wanted to say how good it smells all over my house. Be back after I cut into it... ❤️ It was too good!!! I only had cheddar cheese, added minced garlic in the the peppers and onions, and did add some diced strips of airfried bacon on the top... but yes ma'am... That was my first time making homemade cheese sauce. Thank you! ❤️
I just made this and the only things I changed was based off what I had on hand - I used fresh broccoli and steamed it myself and used a can of evaporated milk instead of heavy cream. Y’all. This is soooo good 🤤 hit the spot for sure. Thank you for sharing!

I just made this and I used Alfredo sauce n dressed it up with the spices n alil broth cause I didn't have heavy cream and girl let me tell you so 😊 good

You absolutely can!!! Air fryers ain't nothing but mini ovens lol. Plus, you're only really trying to melt the cheese and allow the mix to set. It may even cook quicker!

I’m so glad you do the same thing as I do with making the sauce instead of buying the can of cream of chicken. It’s easy and it taste so much better. What I normally do is I get chicken bouillon cubes and make a broth and add the cream. I love it

Thank you so much for a easy and great recipe!! I subbed out the heavy cream for almond milk and it worked perfectly...looove that I didn't have to use flour for the cheese sauce (you're a genius 😊) and I left out the chicken opting to do chicken skewers on the side for my hubby since I'm limiting my meat intake right now ,. everything still turned out perfect and is doggone delicious, thanks again!

I'm sure you can use canned coconut milk and it should work well but be mindful that it will alter the taste some because coconut milk will definitely add a bit of a coconut flavor. I have used oat milk, unsweetened almond milk, or cashew milk before when using a milk substitute that wouldn't necessarily add a flavor to whatever I'm cooking (you can try any of these or use the coconut milk if you don't mind a bit of that flavor being added...I normally use coconut milk in soups and dishes with Thai or Indian influence like coconut soup, curry dishes, etc)
