I finally tried my Rhassoul clay last night with the aloe Vera gel and the peppermint oil and the rosemary oil, the combination you use as a watch... When I say my hair was so soft and easy to manage after, it was the bomb. I probably won’t ever use regular shampoo!!! Thank you so much ❤️
I have been doing this for years it's amazing . Try adding a acv rinse after the clay or Terressntials(lemon) if you prefer not to make Clay's . Curls poppingtOn

Ohhh really??!!! Will give it a try for sure! Thanks
Sorry to be so offtopic but does someone know a method to get back into an Instagram account..? I was dumb lost the login password. I appreciate any assistance you can offer me
When I opened this video I immediately felt bombarded by this big, beautiful full, natural, blowout look you're serving. I'm sitting here in awe like 😱😍
I actually mix Bentonite, Kaolin, and Rhassoul clays for my wash days along with Apple Cider Vinegar and essential oils. This combo absorbs into your hair, deep cleans, moisturizes, and removes toxins. Your hair looks awesome!
Hahaha I literally messaged her before asking her to give us a video on how she takes care of those too b/c my one plant I had was down to one leaf like a month after i bought it smh! Lailah always comes through to help us out!
I used RHassoul today first time. My old ,man going white semi longish protein sensitive, dry, porous hair fell in love. It is incredible. I’ll never use regular again, I had been using morocco method from California for years. Made of plants and clay etc, but this on its own with purified water was incredible!!!!!!!!!!
Hi, I appreciate the information you post. I've done the mix of both clays. I love my curl pattern after I rinse out my hair. I also love that it's a one action process, i.e. cleansing and conditioning all at once. I also put some on my face. Pores reduced and clean healthy hair. Win and win! Thanks for being thorough and concise.
FusionofCultures hello Laila! ( I'm sorry if I spelled it wrong) I absolutely love your channel and your spirit. You really keep me inspired and your vids brighten my day. I too suffer from Trichotillomania and you've shown me that there is hope. Many blessings.
Great video and advice for our natural hair. I had a sister doing my hair some 19-20 years ago and she used Clay. I finally decided to try and find some today. Happy to know the 2 products I had in mind you compared. Thank you and I will be enjoying your other videos to do more with taking better care of my own hair. Grace & Blessings
I use the bentonite clay wash once a week or two weeks. Because Leila made me do it! U put me on and it has changed the way I deal with and feel about my hair! I've never tried the rhassoul but now I wanna do an experiment. Thanks for the video.
PunkGirlRock hey do you mind sharing what ratio/amounts of bentonite & shikaikai you use? Do you mix with just avc? Have been wanting to do this for a while!
Thank you for this comparison video! I’ve been using bentonite clay since I started clay washes. It’s definitely clarifying l, which is what I look for, and clumps my curls so well. The curls are popping after 😜 Nice shine and feels super clean. I would like to try rhassoul clay one day too!
Rhassoul all the way!!. My hair is softand fluffy after the wash. Plus my curls are so defined. I can cosign on the detangling properties. I haven't done a clay mask yet. I tried to wash with bentonite clay but it strips my hair so much and leaves my hair a little hard. I needed a serious deep condition after I used it. I can say that it pulls EVERYTHING out of the hair
Do a honey rinse after. Melt 1/4 C raw honey in a gallon of warm not hot water and rinse your hair with it. No need to rinse with water after. No sticky residue, no build up. Just shine shine shine and smells devine.
So gorgeous Laila! Truly appreciate the explanation for the differences in both clays - I love the definition from the bentonite and rhassoul holds its own too!!
It's been a pure pleasure following you and seeing your great hair growth, It;s good to seeing you get to waist length and beyond. Loving your hard work put in.
Have you tried mixing your clays (particularly bentonite) with hibiscus powder, as it also has cleansing abilities and can lessen the ph of the bentonite mixture.
Hi there...i predominantly clay wash too. I use r.clay but i also use french green clay. My hair def gets clean without stripping that shampoos do to my hair. Personal preferences!
#hairgoals ❤ Your hair is Absolutely gorgeous! I tried bentonite & found it very drying. I use the Carol's Daughter Black Vanilla Rhassoul Clay shampoo. Moisturizing, easy, & no mixing application. 👍
I haven't try Rhassoul Clay yet. So I can't say which one I like the most. Anytime I do clay wash is just because it gives me great definition for my wash n go
Your hair is georgious. I agree I used both clay and my findings were the same as yours. Also love that Carols Daughter has the Rhassoul Clay already mixed.
OMG...I am here for the Wild Seed Rhassoul Clay Wash!!! Why you teasing so early...end of Summer! Lol either way I’ll be purchasing it!!! Bye for now and good day!!! 💗🎀💗
It all really depends on the needs of your own hair. Finding the right clay/oils/routine takes time, and trial and error. I like a mostly Rhassoul, bit of Benzonite mix.
If your hair is quite thick the bentonite will make it manageable with less volume. If hair is thinning, hair has a thicker texture instantly using Rhassoul as you can see. The frizzing is more to do with her hair type & not the clay as results will differ. I'm menopausal so thickening & strengthen my hair is key for length retention & have created a hairgrowth mask which stimulates growth at scalp level with other natural ingredients which deeply moisturises my hormone starved hair. I've used Rhassoul for some time now & being middle aged has meant my hair is longer & stronger without the thinning & breaking normally experienced by women who are in their mid 50's. #organicrich #chemicalfree #hairwash #hairmask = #kitxanderapothecary #kitxanderhairfoodsystem65£ #scalpis #skin #luxury #skincarepro 34 years experience... #kitxander #instagramkitxander 😘
I use the same Moroccan clay for hair masks, and recently did my first clay wash with it. I have also used French Pink lay too, which is just as great.
Love your big hair - your blow out is 🔥 Also where did you buy your earrings and necklace? I’m loving the African accessories- please share info or better still do a video where you get your accessories from 😘
It is so hecking hard to find a video on clay for hair where the girl has straight hair, like me! There is probably one single video that i can actually relate to 😬 Anyways, thanks for the advice
I have a question about the Rhassoul though..I’ve used bentonite and loved it..does the ‘no metals’ rule for bentonite apply to the Rhassoul too? All I can find online is Rhassoul in bags that are foil lined..wondering if it affects the quality or anything at all?
Actually my container says to not use any metals, whether it be utensils or bowl. Now weather the bags themselves can affect the product. I don't know. Please, no matter what do your "own" research. I get mine from the Vitamin Shoppe. The brand is Acient Earth Secrets.
SimplyNatural The reason I’m asking here rather than looking for answers elsewhere which I have also done, is because the Rhassoul I’m considering buying is the exact one Laila buys. I would still be following the no metals rule but I was actually asking about the packaging it (and the majority of Rhassoul available to me) comes in, being a re-sealable foil pouch which is something I cannot help.
