dont listen to him about gsync, if u get fps below ur monitors refresh rate then sure use gsync but if u are above your refreshrate or locked on it then gsync will serve no use and will make your system have waaaaay more latency, NOTE: Gsync was created for heavy games not competetive games like fortnite, cs, valorant, apex etc, if u play a competetive game then never use GSYNC it will be your downfall.
press Windows+R and in the box write %localappdata% go to fortnitegame, saved, config, windowsclient and then right click on gameusersettings and go to properties and uncheck read only then open gameusersettings and scroll intill u find resolution size x and y and put ur desired resolution and then go to the upper left corner and press save close gameusersettings and then check read only.
anyone know why my fps drop so hard? got a rtx 4090 and a I 9, 64 gb ram and everything very good. Everything updated and everything on low in Fortnite and cant maintain 240fps. It drops to 60 sometimes while only having Fortnite on ?
Anybody know why in performance mode (less computing required) I'm getting skipping/fps drops, especially in high density areas/alot going on but in direct12x which demands a lot more it runs perfectly smooth?
Hi, is it possible to have 165fps with a 6750xt and an r5 7500f 32go ram ddr5 (B650-PLUS) in 1440p? I did a lot of different tests and I'm having trouble keeping them, I have a lot of drops in fps. I put everything low apart from the textures high and the display distance far, for the moment I have to block at 90 fps for it to be stable..
If you want to use dx12, turn off g-sync and v-sync in nvidia settings and turn on reflex on+boost with unlimited frames. Performance mode, you should turn on low latency ultra (which is similar to reflex on+boost) in nvidia settings. I don’t have the toggle for reflex when I use performance mode, otherwise it’s better to do so in-game settings for better latency. This two suggestions are strictly for systems that can generate 300s+ frames If your pc struggles to generate good frames, you want g-sync and cap your fps to your refresh rate or lower. If you want to use g-sync and v-sync (nvidia settings and not toggled in game), you can either use low latency ultra or dx12 with reflect on+boost with frames set to unlimited. These will cap your frames for you. These settings increase latency by a small margin, and often times very minuscule. It may throw you off in competitive. They say nvidia, you get better 1% lows on dx12 with the right settings. Performance generates more frames. All depends on what you want. Amd I heard dx12 is best, but I don’t have that.
bro im on laptop and my second monitor got 165hz and the display settings are not showing up when im on nvidia control panel , can someone help me? i watched many tutorials
hey , have you tried changing your refresh rate in the windows display settings or maybe check your nvidia drivers if they are up to date or could be a cable issue but i highly doubt check those and if it did or not work reach to me again by replying to this comment, hope that helps
hi bro , i got a display port cable but my laptop only got a hdmi connection so i dont know where to connect the display port cable ( my second monitor got a display port cable but my laptop doesnt) @@timalexx5888
when i tried to do streched res it caps me at 60 fps ans 60 hertz and if i change it from fullscreen to windowed my game starts working normal again plz help
yup. what i have been trying to tell, dont like these fools that make settings videos and know nothing of what they talk about xd man said to use gsync in a competitive game xd gsync was made for heavy games that u get like 70-90fps in.
I have a guide uploaded earlier that’s super straight forward, albeit that I do stutter and slur because I am not 100% comfortable speaking to the mic like a 1-1 😂
@@MicahDaRhuler yeah my fps stays above 200 and most of the time 240 on directx 12 but on performance mode it drops to 170 180 Constantly it’s just worse for me
@@WeAreRedeemedChildren what i'd like them to do is make a directx12 based performanc emode too, because the current one is based off of dx11 whihc is bad, so theoretically, we could get an even faster version of perf mode.
Dont use gsync man, dont listen to this kid he knows nothing, gsync creates more latency and will make everything slower, it was created for heavy games. if u play a competetive game then never use gsync.
@@tomcruise7704 overclocking it won’t imrove the refresh rate that much I just recommend getting a cheap used 144hz monitor of eBay then selling your 75hz one
