Your "Pro-Tip" of simply flipping the tac belt inside out to use & not print is going to change my life.. 😄 I hardly ever wear that belt specifically because the buckle prints like crazy! THANK YOU!!
😱🇺🇸🙌🏼👊🏼...BuR-Ruh! Your mag change is border lined EPIC! To have a new mag in the well before the old hits the ground...pshwhew! Keep it up, great work!
@@graycattactical1614 I think a good video would be your switch from irons to RDS, why the switch, the learning curve going to RDS, and pros and cons of RDS. Keep up the great content!
Good vid man. You seem to have a talent for producing. I would consider making vids as a side job. You have the subscribers to put you well over a million subs
At the end of the video I think I mentioned the same thing. Looks like they're phasing these out for the Stealth shorts, but you can still find em on Zappos, OpticsPlanet, Amazon, etc. It's just a matter of finding the right size in stock.
I've tried em and I can honestly say that I prefer mine. Their holsters are amazing quality, but I'm able to make mine fit my body just that much better. Also, I can make about 7 holsters for the price of a single tier1 🤣
Would you recommend the TLR-1 HL or the TLR-7A for a Glock 19 that is used for both ccw and home defense? Coming from a 5'6" at 150 lbs carrying tier 1 axis elite. Great video as well!
If it's your only gun, I'd run the brighter light. I actually run an Olight PL pro on most of my guns (1500 lumens) and I prefer that to the TLR1. If you don't mind spending the extra money on two setups, you might consider getting holsters so you can run either.
@@graycattactical1614 I don't think I'll be getting two holsters but thank you for the recommendation! Has the Olight PL Pro been comfortable to appendix carry and do you switch out or just carry that?
@@richardelmstreet96 yeah that could get expensive haha. I have setups for both, but I almost never carry with the TLR7. I don't feel like the PL Pro is at all uncomfortable. It depends mostly on how well the gun/holster combo fits your body. I'd love to tell you that the bigger light will be fine, but it's so hard to say just because it sounds like we're shaped differently.
@@graycattactical1614 I decided to get a cheap appendix carry holster that is Glock 19 + TLR-1 HL compatible to test out first and see if that is comfortable. If it is, then I'll just go with the TLR-1 HL since I might as well run the light with more lumens, but if not, then I'll just stick with the TLR-7A. Thank you for your insight though, definitely helped a lot! Hope to see lots more videos man.
Yup. I mentioned that in the video. At the time of filming they were still available at some online retailers. It looks like they're replacing these with the stealth shorts.
I make my own. Tier1 makes a great product if you're looking to buy a rig, but it's pretty expensive and I just prefer having the control to make little adjustments that will allow the holster to fit my body.
Yeah, seems like they've been discontinued. Not yet. I tried the dart and delta shorts, but neither fit the bill. I'll keep looking and definitely make a vid if I can find a worthy replacement.
Thanks! Unfortunately, I believe they did. You may still find them at a few online stores, but usually in odd sizes. I'm looking for anything that might be a suitable replacement and I'll definitely make a video if I find something.
@@tomerino3 I saw those in person last week. Didn't try em on, but they looked a little longer and I think they ditched one of the pockets. How do you like yours so far?
@@graycattactical1614 I'm re-watching your video as I try on the shorts LOL. I'm 5'10 and the shorts are above my knees, but I wish they were a tiny bit shorter. The changes I noticed are the back pockets. Instead of the vecro, they replaced it with zippers. It has one less pocket like you mentioned. Also they changed the V-shaped belt loop on the back which is no biggie lol. Other than that they feel awesome! Super breathable and stretchy like gym shorts.
I can't justify spending 75 dollars on shorts, buy a nice holster to go with what your wearing for the same price then you don't need 300$in shorts to not be a dirty fuck for a week and carry the same gun you would've for a 70-100 $ holster but don't need to worry about cleaning, wearing another pair of 75$shorts,than just switching a holster, name shorts that aren't stretchy if they're not cargo
I just saw them on Facebook why I'm here, looked nice, had 5 colors with 20% off but thats what,15$ off,so 50 but when I have shorts for 4-12 dollars a pair that do THE SAME THING with a decent gun belt anyway, there just no way to justify these in my mind.
@@ronmatson5502 oh, got it. I'm not sure if you're seeing the same product. As far as I've seen, they don't make these specific shorts anymore. Either way, different strokes. I'd definitely agree that people should invest in a proper holster and belt before budgeting for more shorts haha
Not to many companies with quite such a kooky name, and like anything probably went under and somebody bought it for dirt most likley, likely, it is the same shorts hahaha
Too much, too little - depends on what you're willing to carry. Like I've said in other videos, I actually think I'm more likely to need my medical than I am to need my gun, but I carry both. The probability is very low, but if ever I did need either one, that need would be extremely significant. My hope with this video was to demonstrate that you could carry all this stuff in these shorts if you thought it was necessary. You certainly don't have to carry anything in your pockets if you don't feel like it.
