Thank you, it seems that is the book I was looking for! It might not be perfect, but as for now it seems to be the best historical tarot book I could hope to find. Added to my wishlist.

Nice review. I bought this book and still haven’t read it. Dummett and Decker are definitely hostile to divination 😂 Especially Dummett

Exactly. Ron Decker is much more pro-esoteric, which makes it seem odd that he ever collaborated with Dummett. Decker's book "Esoteric Tarot" is pretty good.
