The Mielle Organics website had a sale the week that they introduced it online...had to get the shampoo, conditioner and curl fretting spray. So far so good. I love the scent! You wash and go is FAB as usual!!!

Your hair is gorgeous! I recently cut my locs and went straight natural twa and love it. Thank you for sharing these products. I like gels, but they leave my hair a crispy mess. I have seen those products in Sally beauty but I did ID texture styling creme, which actually left my curls defined and hair soft. I will definitely explore the other products you mentioned. You can never have enough options.

I've been using leave in conditioners for my stylers lately, but I'll definitely try some of the stylers that you have mentioned. If there is a product that is costly that I want to tryout, I'll wait until I have a 40% off coupon from CVS or 20-30% coupon from Sally's Beauty Supply.😉😊

Excellent review and incredibly informative. Thank you for the information. Kinda get that u prefer Camille Rose Almomd Jai and Deva SuperStretch more than the others. Wondering why? Do both have SIGNIFICANTLY more stretch enuff to just ignore the outrageous prices? I am price sensitive, so I prolly will buy the Shea Moisture JBCO Smoothie AND maybe Mielle or Almond Jai Twist. Hard decision between those 2. Mielle Curling Custard let me down --too many flakes so. A little wary.

That Almond Jai butter is pricey but worth it! I'd love or you to try the Urban Hydration line, I always see them in TJ Maxx in the hair care section. Ross is also a good place to get hiar products for the low. I love Sally Beauty, but can't be spending $60 bi weekly lol- frugal gal here

I’ve tried the Mielle recently from a friend but it left white residue in my hair and I hated it. On the flip it left my hair more moisturized than it has ever been! I’m thinking maybe it was the gel I combined it with. So, does it leave white residue without the gel as well?

I know it's a couple months down the road, but not sure if you solved the residue issue. But you're right, some gels don't mesh well with other products. So I would either try another gel, or use and oil before applying the gel.
