About 20 years ago, I was visiting my cousin in Southern California. He introduced me to Da Bomb, and told me it was an extract to add heat to already seasoned dishes (like chili or salsa), and NOT an actual hot sauce. He then let me try it. I put a drop on a tortilla chip, then foolishly put the chip in my mouth in such a way that the sauce and not the chip came in direct contact with my tongue. OMG. The pain was incredible. I guess they do make an actual hot sauce, too. But, what I had was the extract, and it only took a drop on a chip to learn a lesson.

See, I had a worse time with da bomb the hours and day following. I felt it just burning through the lining of my stomach about 40 minutes after eating it. I swear it must have burned a hole it hurt so bad. Then it eventually went away... until. Just before bed it must have entered my intestines bc the pain came back but, like, deeper. Idk how to describe it. It was right under the left side of my ribs. I did my best to ignore the pain and eventually fell asleep. UNTIL I woke up at 3am and felt a horrible cramping in my lower right quadrant of my abdomen. Like doubling over pain. I suffered through it for an hour and fell back asleep. Woke up, felt fine. UNNTTTILLLLLL all of a sudden around noon, 24 hours after it entered my body, it decided it was time to exit my body. I have never had a shit so violent in my life. I was clutching at the walls, bracing my skinny ankles, and crying lol. The entirety of my stomach cramped all at once for like 2 minutes of pure hell, my ahole literally bled, and I sweat out half the water in my body while shaking profusely. But then it was over. So yeah can't recommend it out of an abundance of caution for your digestive system. TLDR; I ate the sauce and went on a 24 hour journey through hell as it tore up my insides and finally my butt hole on its way out. Do not recommend.

Da Bomb is the human equivalent of refreshing your page then blowing up your computer with a rocket launcher for extra measure A classic

I love this! I finally feel like I'm "in the know" about something cool because I've watched almost all of these full interviews at least once. Thanks to Evans and the Hot Ones crew for all the spicy memories!

About a decade before this show came out I tried DaBomb. Like everyone says, it's very hot and the flavor isn't great. Everyone in the office used a toothpick to add it to our tacos. A "big" guy came in and laughed at us, then proceeded to slather his taco with it. He turned beat read and sweated the entire rest of the day.

I started watching because I wanted to see what the reactions would be for people, subscribed because of Da'Bomb, and have stayed because of Sean and his great interviews and questions!

I first had Da Bomb like 20 years ago and I still talk about it. I tried to go back to work after trying it at lunch and I felt like I was losing my mind. Please never take it off the show!

I love your show! Me and my wife wish we had you for a drinking buddy or just any random day. The way you deliver your questions and how your platform of chicken wings brings a whole new, interesting, and adventurous way of having a simple chat is simply ... ... ummm... I bought a bottle "Da Bomb" a few years back. Brought it home and put it on the kitchen counter. My cat knocked it over and the bottle shattered on the floor. I went to clean it up with a small towel. Got most of it, so I decided to rinse the towel with some water so I could get the rest of it..... The water was hot and it "vaporized" the sauce in the steam from the water and I felt like I got sprayed with pepper spray. Even with all that, The worst part is I never got to eat any of it.😅

Hi i have a really important question.. If you mix a hot sauce with a high scoville level and another one with an even higher scoville level. Does that increase the heat of the sauce or does it dilute it?

The factory that makes Da Bomb is like 5 minutes from my house. You can go inside, they've got a little shop in there where you can buy things and try things. Da Bomb has a blue label sauce that's 4 million Scoville. I've tried it and its way worse than the black label. You should put that one on the show.

I have this sauce at home and can vouch for the hotness, it truly lives up to it's name "Da Bomb - Beyond Insanity".

I'm kind of a chili-head, grow my own, make my own sauce etc. I got hold of "Da Bomb" many years ago in my quest to find hotter hot sauces (not like the generic "Franks" or "Tabasco"), this was before I discovered Blair's. I can honestly say that I have no idea how this sauce still exists. The taste is somewhere between gasoline and lighter fluid, and the heat is nowhere near a pleasant experience. The only thing that comes to mind keeping this sauce alive, is people buying it to someone as a prank. It really is rancid...trust me.

Bought this sauce at the Horseshoe Casino 20 years ago . Wiped sweat from my eyes after having some and damn, thought I was pepper sprayed! Mom in law had to flush my eyes. All I did was put the lid on and forget about it.🥵
