Been on oneSec for a year, I love how structure looks and just focus on the current day. Minimal information. And it integrating with onsec makes it a beast. You should do a vid on that when you have time ! great video, keep em coming! Subscribed!
Tip for time blocking- thanks Drave it was helpful you just write down everything you want to get done in a day and then on another sheet of paper, you write down what time of day you're going to do those things Cal has a video that instructs you on the little symbolism he uses to move things around when things get shifted or if things don't go quite as you planned.
I was just about to rant about how this app has no descriptions, sub-tasks, or lists. But downloaded it and they do kinda have those, although a bit clunky, and hiding wayyyy down after scrolling in the edit task window. Switching apps for calendars, notes or checklists sucks and is confusing. Apple has Notes, Reminders, and Calendar - which I think should be combined into ONE app. Not sure why Apple is missing the boat on such a core important use case. Might give this app a second look...
Great video Dave! 🙌👍 However, for me there is still a huge disadvantage with Structured that makes the app almost useles. You already explained it at 08:04 in the video. Structured can even synchronise between other apps and iCloud sync is also possible. That's all great, but why aren't then all my tasks that I record on my iPhone also synchronised and displayed on my iPad afterwards? The app acts like it has an separate account on the iPhone and iPad, even though both devices using the same Apple ID🙈 And the funniest thing about it is that if we could really create an account in Structured, this problem wouldn't even exist😂 It works in a similar way with an account sync, for example with Anytype. Please correct me if I'm wrong. But I haven't seen any way to synchronise my tasks from my iPhone to my iPad. If this is possible I’m going to buy the lifetime deal in a second😁👍
You are wrong :) Syncing across devices should work perfectly, but it is technology and ya know. Stuff sometimes doesn't work as expected. Here are some trouble shooting steps: help.structured.app/en/articles/329410
I used structured to plan my client appts as a dog groomer when I used to groom dogs (I work in finance now, it’s a long story) and it does sync across ur phone and ur watch and ur iPad. Not sure why it isn’t working for you 😢
Thanks for this video! My question is what is the "point" of ticking off the boxes. If you don't complete a task, does it move to the next day, or reschedule, or anything like that?
You can move tasks to another day, but it won't do it for you automatically. The point would be the same as ticking off a box in any other todo list I guess!

This video is literally the explanation. Ticktick takes a different approach with pomodoro and eisenhower matrix. Structured's AI feature saves your time and makes adjusting time and shifting tasks easier. I would say Structured has the most humane approach for task management.
