a big portion of the twilight movie was actually filmed on a 90 acre piece of property in southwest Washington along the Columbia river, directly across the Columbia river from multnomah falls, called the shire, it’s private property that my sisters husband works on, he was actually an extra in it, he brags about his calf being in the movie.

My son did an internship at the Washington Department of Natural Resources in Forks, Washington. I enjoyed the area and enjoyed my visit with him. The DNR has many places to stay for cheap. He is now doing a Forestry Engineering internship at the DNR Enumclaw, Washington. If you're heading in that direction, look him up. He can give you some information on good hikes. His name is Matthew. BTW, I enjoy your videos and your cousin's. Safe travels.

Thanks for explaining. I’m a 60 year old dude and I’ve not seen even 1 episode or trailer for Twilight (of course I’ve seen pictures, posters etc…) but absolutely no interest in it. But I’d like to go to the towns. I live in Washington but I’ve never been up in the part of the state.

Love the scene recreation. Would be cool to visit the actual filming locations. Most are in Oregon. Bella’s house was cool. As embarrassed as I felt, I took a pic in front of it with my shirt off as an ode to Jacob. My brother said, “you never know if you’ll be back here, just do it!” No regrets

LOVED this video Sarah!! Im a huge Twilight fan as well. Been to Forks right after the series! Portland area has a lot of places where the movie was filmed. The cafe in the original is in Carver, OR. The forest scenes you played out were filmed behind The Cliff Inn restaurant near Carver. Bellas house with Charlie is in St Helens, OR - the high school they attended is the High School in Kalama WA, you can see it at top of hill off of I-5. Ok Im done!!! Lol

Nice! My wife and I watch yours and your cousin's updates every weekend without fail. Interestingly, we took our daughters to Forks and La Push after the Twilight books were published but BEFORE the movies came out. You wouldn't believe it, but NOBODY cared a wit about 'em. We asked lots of different people there and only one or two had heard of 'em and knew they were set in their towns. Pretty wild.

Hi Sarah, I could see how Twilight fans would be drawn to that area. The hikes are a bit spooky, Forks has some interesting shops and I think the museum visit was must for any fan of the movies/books. I'm loving the t-shirt you picked out, so appropriate. It was certainly a beautiful area to visit and I'm looking forward to seeing some more videos along the Washington state coastline. Happy trails SB on your adventures.

Oregon and Washington coast is the most beautiful coastline I have personally ever been to. Nowhere on the east coast can compare , but Britain has some pretty nice coastline

Definitely a Twilight Fan here! Team Edward hands down. Your video was neat to watch. I had a co-worker that I could quote lines with and laugh about our favorite scenes with. We love camping across the straight at Port Renfrew and Jordan River, BC. Consider taking the Coho ferry from Port Angeles to Victoria, BC.
