there's multiple angles to this. main thing is, a huge part of playing corner is knowing how to disguise/get away with contact. the great ones are elite at this. (for reference, go look at darrelle revis or sauce gardner one on one highlights) another thing is, you can make contact with the reciever, as long as you don't impede them. so things like pulling them or grabbing them in a way that stops their momentum or forces them to completely slow down is more likely to draw a flag. but if you simply put your hands on them to feel them, or use your body to lean on them, that's all fine. and finally, this is a personal opinion but i think recievers have it WAY to easy with all the rule changes. so it makes playing cornerback harder than ever. weak little pass interference calls make the game less fair and less fun to watch. so i don't mind when DBs get away with stuff most of the time, as long as it's not totally egregious -- like this: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xjvZHMod_3E.html
