EDIT: Also excited to go to Louisville for my first regional and cant wait to meet you and others! Im surprised that you ranked the Dragapult Pidgeot deck so low. I honestly expect it to do better than the other. I may be wrong, but I always feel like I need a little extra or that I am missing something to get the win without the Pidgeot EX.
This is why I think Bolt isn’t that good. If it doesn’t take the first two prizes, it just loses. When a game and sometimes the match can be decided by the first coin flip, I can’t ever see myself saying the deck is above B-Tier.
the setup, consistency, and low pilot difficulty level make the deck good. Without area zero, you normally have a very fast 130attack, great against for setup decks like char/gardy. Coupling with boufflant's buff of -60dmg, terapogoes at 230hp is very hard to kill. Furthermore, you can run alot of toolbox pokemon for situations, like raikou, radiant charizard, bloodmoon ursuluna. etc. I personally don't think its S tier, but I would say its Low A to High B tier.
Idk i beat it with palkia (both versions), bolt and zard. It is pretty bad against thorns, also. It does not deal well against temple, the hammers and hand/board disruption. It's good deck, I respect it, but I don't believe the hype. It's probably the most consistent of the turbo (or pseudo turbo) decks, so in a bo3 a high skilled player will probably do super well with it, but that's the case with any of these decks lol.
