@@chadchampion3700 Just give Gorou as much ER as possible, Fav Bow and CR hat. Noelle needs like 180+ ER but that depends on how many Fav weapons are there on the team.
Now that Furina is in the game, I really enjoy giving Gorou 4pc Petra in my Noelle team. If you're able to maintain everyone's energy it's a pretty fun time
Gorou himself can be a shielder by stacking up EM and this shield has 100% up time in a rotation and automatically refreshes due to how his burst work. Best use of it is using Instructor and Elegy and he can be the shielder and EM buffer for Nahida hyperbloom or Hutao or whatever. It is also tougher than you may think because buffing defense result in less incoming damage and constant automatic refresh when the burst is up, he had always been listed as an alternative option for Hutao's team instead of Zhongli. You can use him as the shielder for any team that runs on elemental reactions of the 4 basic elements, or mono teams (with Gorou using Archaic Petra).
I’m actually glad i got Gorou through the event. I wanted to put together a geo team, but before the event all i had was Noelle and plains to get Navia. so the team will be ( for the time being ) Noelle, Gorou, Navia, Arlecchino with the future complete team being Noelle, Albedo, Navia, Chiori
Although you said gorou doesn’t work that well with Navia, just from my own experience he’s probably one of the best budget supports for her especially if you don’t have zhongli (and I don’t). The benefits Gorou gives is geo resonance, inturuption resistance w/ skill (when stacked with crystallize it’s actually pretty strong stagger resistance) and sucking up crystallizes with the burst. Additionally if you are c6, you get a small crit damage bonus, but base kit is serviceable enough. The team I play him on a lot is gorou, Navia, Furina, Dori but like for this abyss maybe bennet / xiangling might work better. For gorou since his skill only buffs defense, you can keep him all talents level 1 and you can level character level for survivability, mine is personally only at level 60 w/ 1 talents. I strongly recommend just using the exiled set since it gives energy to the team and he’s one of those rare characters that doesn’t really need personal damage. He’s also very good as a support just from his quick swap playstyle so you don’t really have to field him for that long.
@@pc_txears so I believe while it could also be applicable for ningguan as well, I think there are better options for her as far as geo team mates. The first one is Geo MC where you get all of his constellations for free and you get traveler’s ascension materials for free so it’s a low risk low investment character to build. With only c1, you get a 10% crit rate buff if you stand in the radius of his burst and you get some interruption resistance. That with geo resonance (which is most important because it gives geo shred) should be a strong foundation for a ningguan team. If you don’t like Geo MC playstyle, he’s still serviceable to play at level 1 talents since you only want his buff from burst, just slap a lot of ER on him. Once you start filling out your roster, I recommend Yunjin to eventually replace Geo MC because she is Geo and gives a normal attack buff. Her buff scales on her defense so technically you could add gorou to this team, but I think other buffers / off field dps units like bennet and fischl are more beneficial for team damage. Some good ningguan teams could be something like ningguan, yunjin/geo MC, bennet, xiangling or ningguan, yunjin/geo MC, yaoyao/kirara, fischl.

I actually was working on getting Aether's cons for every element anyways and I main Yaoyao and use Fischl on a usual basis so I think I'll slap her in a team with them and maybe if I get yunjin anytime soon by loosing 50/50 then I'll put her in, in replacement of Aether. Just have to figure out rotations and I should be good to go. Tysm again :)!
@@pc_txears for rotation / showcase of this type of team, I recommend the RU-vidr SLaN. He has a pretty good showcases of abyss teams with a variety of characters. Although do note he probably has high investment into each of his characters and he shows his builds at the end. He did the team Ningguang, fischl, kirara, and yunjin in the 4.5 spiral abyss clear about a month ago. Easy to find by searching ningguang 4.5 abyss.

@@calamitygenshinimpact1255 I just realized gorou doesn't need any defense(except if you want have some heal at c4). This is my final c4 Gorou build , Noblesse Set, ER/Geo/Crit, 259% energy recharge, 810 Def, 61.8 Crit. You can choose Geo or Def for goblet. Gorou heal is quite useless for me. So i choose Noblesse Set and Geo dmg goblet for some dmg. Level 80. 2/11/6

And how does DEF benefit Gorou's buffs for Itto? Gorou's skill will still give the same buffs regardless of his Defense. If you look at the stats which I showed in the video: Standing Firm gives flat DEF, this increases with Talent levels NOT Gorou's own personal defense Crunch gives a flat 15% Geo DMG Bonus. Defense only scales with Gorou's C4 healing and his personal damage with his burst, which I stated is really low even with full investment into DEF.
