Charlie, very good explanation. The idea of a team to defend my position in arena is always a problem for me since I don't have enough resources to invest in heroes to do this job. That's when I remind a phrase from Johnny in Cobra Kay, like: “Your offense is not enough?... You need more offense.” And that is what I have for the moment... my defense team is my offense team. So I give more power and sometimes it work very well 😅.

Great advice! I like an all support/control group with Dorian. So many on my server die on this hill when Jorgen is the tank, and some will attack it over and over without changing their lineup (maybe because of the power difference?). It's so much fun! Another good tactic is to change it up a lot because many people just assume they'll win if they beat you before. As an added benefit, you start to learn a lot more about how these other heroes can sub in to help your main team on attack.

I think the time out tactic is still viable on facebook, but it must be done correctly. I recommend using Celeste and Maya because they specialize in two different forms of healing AND also act offensively. I also recommend two to three attacks depending on who you are using. Galahad is a good choice, as is Corvus and possibly Cleaver as well. I don't like Astaroth as much on defense because Morrigan can easily block his resurrection.

I bet individually (not collectively) on any of of the 20 newest fb servers there aren't 100 let alone 1000 players that have a leveled up Morrigan.

oh man , how did you know about my idea ? that's exactly what i do .. 3 tanks and 2 healers xD .. much armor much longer survival , sometimes i drop out one of my tankers for a support like morrigan .. she has a great union with corvus and her skulls are helping against dante .. adding helios is essential against yasmine or dante too for their crits ... but i only unlocked helios 2 hours ago so still i need some time

in the long run it only makes sense to setup different teams for off and def while trying to get best synergy among them so that u dont have to lvl up 35 heroes. right now i also try to setup def team according to my biggest rivals during reward time to make sure i can hold my high ranks for 650-450 emeralds every day

@@sumitmitra54 i m playing mobile (so dont use this for facebook), i will go for 1. twins celeste dorian asta 2. aurora jorgen faceless judge helios 3. rufus andvari keira sebastian jet. for offense i also use karkh/nebula/martha/lian/phobos. i d also suggest to get the undead duo corvus/morrigan if u want or maybe try reworked lilith or new hero amira

Well, I might consider your thoughts. Sometime...Next time I'll start to play Hero Wars. For now I have a defence team that, somehow stands 17 out of 20.Something like the timeout team. With some armour and with some heal and some dodge. Don't see a reason to change that. I'm on Web 9, not a young server, b ut still. People really have troubles in terms of taking down that team. :)

I was thinking of 3 tanks + Celeste + Martha to for burning the 2 minutes down. Astaroth would be one of my 3 since he is pretty high level along with Celeste and Martha. What would be the 2 other tanks to complete the defensive team? Is this a good strategy, or are there too many ways to counter this type of team?

Great! One of my most awaited topics :) My best defense team currently is Astaroth, Maya, Celeste, Helios (originally Jorgen), and Martha (pet is Axel/Biscuit). I can sub out Helios for Sebastian. In my case, it can actually defend high level teams.

Oh and one more (hypothetical, fun, and a bit expensive because it's all intelligence heroes), Maya, Dorian, Helios, Lilith, and Martha. Maya can be almost immortal if she survived before and after her ult (because of Dorian's vamp aura)

Top 100 arena always same guys so they know me i know them its easier to set defence attacking different story because we attacked each other many times over time grand arena similar little easier to attack same in guild wars gold league same guilds fight every week for long time everyone knows everyone

It forces new players to spread their resources and hero development too thing, for not that great of rewards. You could get really strong in GA in a year, or really strong in arena in 3-6 months, and get the same daily rewards. On mobile it's different, because you do need 3 teams in several activities: Grand Arena, Global Championship, and the Hydra. On Facebook you only need about 8-10 heroes total.

I really don't like to leave hate comments, but I'm here because hero wars have the worst ads ever. It's not only fake, but you can't exit or close them without closing your current app. Their ads are like a virus!
