Hey thanks for this video, my friend is making an independent film and has asked me to do his one sheet. It will be my first go at this type of graphic design. This was a lovely resource, and now I have to watch lobster. (Also thank you for pointing out the subtlety of design in the grand Budapest Hotel poster. Never noticed the flaws in the type face before, they’re subtle and beautiful)

Also an illustrator, the new Suspiria poster is one of my absolute favourite film posters too, and I was happy that it made it onto your list. The soundtrack cover is also incredible. Many Polish posters go hard, my favourites are The Hourglass Sanatorium and Interrogation. Also James Jean did another poster for Pinocchio as well as for Aronofsky's The Whale and they are both so gorgeous. Love his Mother! poster too. And of course I love all Saul Bass' posters but my favourite would be Anatomy of Murder. The modern Korean film design is really cool too, they have really perfected the art of translating the foreign films for the domestic market. No Time To Die's Korean logo designed by Pygmalion is just so well done. Criterion covers and Mondo posters are good, but really hoping there will be more official illustrated posters in the future.

Perhaps one thing I would recommend is to prefer the original version of the poster with all credits. It's always a movie poster ahahahah
