Great video! What an amazing pack of DDB’s! Are you a breeder? Mine just turned 4 and was a rescue… I had never even heard of a French Mastiff, but now they are absolutely my favorite breed of dog; so smart, loving and loyal! When I first rescued her, her ribs were showing and she only weighed about 80lbs. Now she’s pushing 120lbs, but solid muscle… really amazing dogs!
Ive always had packs of dog, mom dad and a few pups. I recently rescued A solo DDB. Id never seen ONE, hes such a unique specimen, and seeing mutiple together always blows my mind 🤯😂
There all so perfect an happy!!! Mine is 9 1/2 and loves to be groomed,, just not so much the nails the older he gets . I always enjoy your videos. PEI 🇨🇦
let me start with THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL 😍!!! You should get a velocity dryer and blow them out before the bath 😉 it will help get a TON of this hair out and you will get an amazingly clean shiny coat 😉☺️ also with that brush you always want to go with the hair never against 🌻 before covid I was a dog groomer and this was one of my FAVORITE parts so watching this was extremely satisfying ☺️
Hi, If you've watched my other videos I'm actually a dog groomer of 12 years. I don't blast any dogs out before a bath due to groomers lung, that is actually very dangerous for your health even if wearing a mask. So everything I have in, no matter what it is, is bathed first. Regarding the brushing, I'm just loosening the compacted parts before I continue brushing normally. Check out my full groom video where I show a full groom start to finish in the salon.
I’m sad that my Bordeaux pup doesn’t seem to like water. Are any of yours afraid to swim or do you think they will end up liking it as they grow older?
My bullmastiff was that way. He wouldn't go out if it was sprinkling 😂But my new DDB seems to love it so far. Always wants to get in tub while showering.
hi there, me and my partner love your vids as we have a bordeaux too. Her name is Nala she is 3 years old, i brush and bathe her often as she has sensitive and sore skin. I was wondering with your experience of having these amazing dogs, if you have any advice on what to do next or how to treat it. She has lots of sores/scabs on the sides of her body they get really dry and flaky with skin and the ones she can itch and scratch end up drawing blood, i do try my best to keep ontop of it, however i can not brush her as freely as you do your dogs due to her skin being delicate but that brush your using looks amazing!! We have taken her to get treatment, where they gave her Tablets and also surgical scrub to bathe the sore scabs in. # If you know any possible contributing factors that could be assisting her skin problem in sticking around and not clearing up thatd be much appreciated. Apologies for the long winded comment but i do hope you can help as you seem really experienced not just with dogs but dog de bordeaux's in particular.
@@regalrougedoguedebordeaux Good morning, she is currently only on dry kibble food from our local supermarket and have been occasionally mixing with sardines and even more recently i have been using the same branded food but in tins in jelly and mixing with her kibble. However my next step definitely would be to change the food starting asap really.. have u got any suggestions on what i should put her on to? Thanks for taking the time to respond :)
@@jackchaplin3397 no problem at all 😊 is the brand you are using 'Grain free? What are the main ingredients? We use Carnilove Grain Free and raw, and (touch wood) we've never had a skin issue. So if you aren't already stop what you are using and try a high quality Grain free, or raw, as she is clearly sensitive I'd try and avoid any poultry for now too until you see an improvement 🐾
