A comparison with the Questyle CMA18P would be great. Also I recommend to you another overseen, highly resolving dongle: the „Calyx K“. Thanks for the review 👍
I have the Dita Dream OG (2017) and a Cayin RU7, do you think Navigator can be a good complimentary for Dream OG? Especially to tame the 6-7khz peak, gives more air, and boost the bass body?
Thanks for your thoughts on this. I've seen it used in a few reviews but no videos focusing specifically on it. Can you compare vs any of the newer dongles using dual Cirrus Logic DACs?
This thing is 6 times the price, not sure what to compare. Over new CS kids i'll recoment BTR15 as more worthy in price bracket. Peq with newly added shelf filters is a killer feature, and BT capability on a change. Sound is better than everything there, except DC04Pro, which it roughly equals to.
@@MrGarkin I have BTR7 and am not convinced BTR15 would be an upgrade for me. Maybe BTR7 if/when that comes. I don't use EQ/PEQ, so that's not a pro for me. The only sound alterations I make are filters and choosing movie mode on my L&P W4 when I watch a movie. I have many dongles and prefer Cayin RU6, Hiby FC6, and Penon Tail. For BT, I prefer Dethonray SG1, Fiio BTR7, and Shanling UP5. All depending on what IEM I'm using and how complementary the pairing is. Navigator seems interesting because of this review and that it's using FGPA architecture which I've found adds a very refined touch to the sound.
@amplifyaudioreviews I didn't know this company DITA AUDIO, now I'm curious too about the result of this combo! (Navigator +IE 900!) Thanks for what you do and making us discover new worlds!
It'd be interesting to see how this compares to the Qudelix-T71(same price) which has quad ES9219C DAC compared to the duo ES9219 here. Qudelix has a killer companion app with updates all the time.
