Actually, you should use a drift differential and drift suspension with drag tires. Sounds weird. But it allows you to slide without completely spinning out Also some awd vehicles with all drift parts including tires. Actually drift pretty decently

I go for SRT Viper, it got me though every drift zone in the game, even in the middle of a high heat chase XD

Rx 7 with few tweaks from adjustment of steering and power is the only car perfect for drift

I like the Nissan Silvia for drifting

I use the S15 Silvia… been my drifter since I bought my first car to setup for drifting. RX7 is for racing, then I have a few others just there to make garage look nice

The most fun vehicle to use for drifitng is the Chevrolet pick up truck. Its handling is tight and feels like a real drift car and drifts like you would in real life by contantly having to use the handbrake.

I enjoyed drifting with the Ford Focus the most in Heat. It just felt so snappy, nimble but sustainable. In Unbound though, I suck at drifting with high revving cars for some reason, and the 'Cuda is now my main drift car. High torque heavy cars with a single turbo are what work for me in that game.

the mitsubishi lancer evo ix is a pretty underrated drift car. ive never seen anyone use it

I love the '99 skyline myself. It has the perfect length and weight for sliding around curves. The stance needs to be set all to medium.

I got 200k plus points on the Drift track near the Garage with a Chevy Corrvette C6 ZR-1 with a drift set up drag tyres and drift suspension and the other drift part car still could do 370 kmh

The best all around set up in my opinion is The old Mazda Miata, with the 4 cylinder, supercharged, with the 4 speed. Used maximum level racing tires. Not the track ones. And the 15 second single shot nitrous It can drift, drag, and handle any way you want it to. Perfect mix of raw speed and handling. Yes, things can beat it, but you'll find out it's only few that can. And it's usually cars that are purposely built for specific styles. The Miata with the set up I mentioned is a prime contender in all styles

For drift I use biuck gnx it can give massive drift point And for fun I use mustang 302 for drift

c6 corvette with drag tires and rally/rallycross (i forget) suspension is literally amazing for drifting, it feels like how it actually should lol

For people who don't have a num pad there are 2 ways to access live tuning, to do it easier use your 3/4+ additional keys extra apart from the normal ones and set up each additional key for, num 8(up), 2(down), 4(close), 6(open)

For me it was the dodge challenger the old one and I had everything on drift and it couldn’t even drive normal without drifting and I got tones of points

Evo for me.... shit was fun I used to drift it at night and get away from lvl5 heat. The camero ss tho that felt the best when you blasting the music and sound through headphones it's just satisfying to hear it roar down the road as you drift round corners

For me it’s the corvette ZO6, it handles so well and it’s so forgiving when u make a mistake

I don’t know why but the barracuda is really fun to drift in heat compared to some of the other cars

i dont know why, but my favorite car for drifting is chevy c10. so smooth at the corner and no need to tune a lot

My favorite is the Mustang GT 500, easy for drifting and can be used for tight turns in the little sprint races

On my Need for Speed Heat game I didn't tune it and it was on complete accident I made my 69 Dodge Charger into a drift car by accident

In general the RX-7 is the easiest car to gain points in, but other cars like the 350Z are easier to control while almost earning just as many points.

Here's a better build, pro speedcross suspension, elite drag tires, elite plus clutch, and a showcase differential.

I prefer the 65 mustang. Fully upgraded engine. Super showcase suspension and differential. Elite drag tires

Viper GTS is my favorite. I got 3 stars on all drift activities with it

In my opinion i love using the evo 7 or 8 and if you use the right parts you easily can get over half a million drift points

To me, I used Buick Gnx I can't remember all off the suspension, differential. But I still remember used drag tires It just rips on long corners!

My favorite drift car in NFS Heat is the Lancer Evo IX MR FQ-360.

Most of the old muscle cars are usualy the best and most fun to drift only con about it is expensive Forged V8 engine

even though rx7 is super easy to handle with this build already, I've found it easier to handle the throttle with 2.9l V6, w/o loosing much torque

This is something that too many jdm fanboys get wrong, the C6 Corvette and the Buick GNX are top contenders that easily dethrone the Rx-7. At least in my case

I don't really like the RWD cars to drift in NFS Heat. I had the Focus RS and later the Subaru Impreza. The one in the first Ken Block Gymkhana video. And I think its pretty much the best.

I would not recommend that regerra for drifting man, a single gear for 264 mph is not very strong in a drift build. The RX-7 is definitely the way to go but if you wanna have some fun grab the Silvia with a roots supercharger and either stock or showcase tires, then throw that sucker in manual, shift to 3rd gear from a stop and have fun 😉

i cleared all of the drift zones with my ford mustang foxbody with the initial D drip 😎 harder to do but +10 style points (still a pretty good car)

That’s a sweet wrap on the rx7 but I disagree. While it is great at drifting I beat all my high scores I set using the rx7 with the viper. Same set up but with off-road drift tires. Nothing comes close to the scores I set with it. Easy way to compare it is the drift course in the stadium by the garage. I set 144k with the viper on it. Im not the best drifter, but I thought it was good.
