People want the bolts because they are a good alignment guide. Snug them moderately tight. Visually inspect alignment, then peel tape and finish snugging inner bolts. Perfect fitment and alignment everytime.

Just threw on my v3 duckbill. No issues at all and ignition red color match looks perfect vs OEM.

Why was the factory bolt option taken off the V3? Mine didn't have it, just 3M. It seems to be on there really well but I would have loved the 2 bolts as insurance and peace of mind.
