The Best Easter Eggs in HALO INFINITE 

*UPDATE: The 'Rat' might actually be a gopher, which you can see in the game.* 343 didn't continue Bungie's legacy of great easter eggs with Halo 4 & 5. Infinite finally brings them back. I love how 343 embraced the Craig meme to the point of giving him his own little lore in Zeta Halo, it fills my heart with immense happiness.

Been following Guru for a while, and honestly “big sandwich” is probably one of the most direct descriptions he’s given an Easter egg to date.

You can also trigger hidden music if you stand on the end of a crashed ship near the start of the game

I found a toy version of the Arbiter on top of a mountain next to the new variant of the sniper rifle, I was just exploring and came across it. It was a great feeling!

I accidently came across the hidden song in a different spot while trying to find a high spot to enjoy the scenery and I could not wipe the smile from my face. It really is the little things that make this game great and stand out

Your videos still give the chills, most cinematic / eerie easter eggs on youtube. Like viewing relics lost to time, we wonder about the stories behind these easter eggs that so few know about.

I found a great schism Easter egg, it’s where you find the Spartan core just south of Pyramid Squad, there’s a ton of dead brutes and only Elites spawn there, guess they got their revenge.

We're gonna need more parts to this. Whole game is just a big love letter to halo fans

the Craig thing (which i wasnt even aware of, just the picture of the weird Brute) was great. its appreciated when they slide in some in-development easter eggs like that. feels like back in the day a reference like that would be seen in the NEXT game.

I found one you missed, if you go behind the tunnel after you leave the elevator in the first mission you can find a forerunner door hidden in an alcove, go inside and you can find an arcade cabinet that plays the halo themes Edit: by first mission I'm referring to the one right when you first get out into the open above ground.

We all love Bungie Halo's weird, funny and sometimes even disturbing easter eggs, i was pretty sad about not seeing so little of them in 4 and 5. I am super happy to see 343 do this, with an open world like Zeta Halo it'd be kinda stupid of them not to include tons of easter eggs, we love 'em. The people at 343 are funny as hell, Craig's band easter egg really cracked me up when i found it.

Btw there is an amazing Easter of Craig that mint blitz found. There’s a mountain that looks like Craig’s face and another mountain next to it with grass on it referencing master chief hitting Craig like in the 2020 demo

i have been subbed for years and i must say your editing skills especially in this video are EXCEPTIONALLY well done. when you cut off the 8 bit halo theme into the original chorus version of it was just so well done! i enjoy watching all of these videos :D

There's also a lot of easter eggs referencing Red vs. Blue in the armor hall! Pink is titled "Lightish Red" and the description for the logo of a plasma grenade stuck to the helmet "Is it a spider?" Great video as always!

Actually, when you first step into the ring, take a right and go down a little cave entrance. You can find the same type of arcade machine inside from the multiplayer in a room with dead brutes and marines with cans everywhere. Seemed like they partied a little too hard.

I stumbled on an escape pod that had two dead marines strewn outside of it exactly like in the original Halo when you first land on Installation 04. When Cortana says "the others...the impact".

Okay one easter egg i found, once you already liberated the first outpost, then go down and behind the outpost. Go find a cave filled with dead brutes and marines and an arcade machine of Halo.

Even though I've lost my egg phase, I still come back here for the effort and insight.

The only one I personally found was the Craig rooftop tour one, and it was an accident due to me looking in the wrong place for a spartan core. I found it a few hours after campaign release, and needless to say I was so hyped.

I found some more. At Outpost Tremonious, if you head behind the building you enter from for a bit you can find a forerunner doorway, inside is a Halo Infinite arcade cabinet. Another one I found is another plushie, atop on of the high mountains in the middle portion of the map where the AA guns are. It’s of the Arbiter.

343: we should put some Easter eggs in here. Random employee: sandwich. 343: wait no that’s not… Random employee: BIGGER SANDWICH.

I just realized that if you melee Craig's guitar, it plays small little rifs, lmao. Also there's a skull behind the speakers area, don't miss it!

At first when he said “get to this high point and a familiar song will play” I was expecting the Siege of Madrigal

If you go there on the day Craig became a meme or change the date on your console, Craig is actually up there playing music. It’s the greatest Halo Easter Egg of all time. You’re welcome

the thing about easter eggs is that they can be so minor but make such an impact. we appreciate so little sometimes so it’s great. like flying on a plane is pretty shit but when they bring free snacks it makes us feel better but in reality you are paying for them because the ticket was $400. finding spots in a game that trigger music is such a small thing but it is so nice and cool to experience and find on your own and not have them be so hidden that you can never find them.

Came across a Arbiter plush while exploring the mountains in the area with the 3 AA cannons, a data log and a modified sniper were things I also found on that mountain

Does the color pink in the multiplayer customization being called "Lightish Red" count as an easter egg? It's a reference to Red vs. Blue.

There's a picture frame of him on the cliff side toward the final mission where you save the pilot.

You can find the arcade box playing the theme's in the campaign as well, behind the first encampment you start exploring free roam, behind the main building you leave from.

Found the Craig shrine first by accident and then the arcade cabinet while I was looking for audio logs. Also the hidden music cues are in multiple spots as well, most of them being at the top of something like a tower or mountain. Love that I found most of these on my own, great video.

As an OG Xbox Player of Halo 1 and 2 back in the day, I'm so glad to see how incredibly well Infinite is being reviewed and received by the community. I went to Playstation during the 360/PS3 days onward, but it genuinely makes me so happy to see Halo getting the games it deserves. Infinite truly does look amazing.

I thought that the slab was a rat reference but now that I think about it, it looks more like those armadillo/mole creatures that you encounter on the surface. I feel like rat would make more sense but it just doesn't look right to me.

I would like to say the Toys versions are a reference to halo 2 and halo 2 anniversary, if anyone remembers you can find some toy versions of characters in that version, along with the Anniversary edition that had a grunt being teased with the Toy he played depending on the difficulty.

4:57 you can also find those machines in the campaign world. Had a laugh when I found them, far before seeing them in the multiplayer map.

there is one of those halo arcade machines in the campaign too, if you turn around as soon as u first get into the open world, you'll come to a door, and its in there playing the theme. and maybe a spartan core? I can't remember.

You can also find the Infinite arcade machine in campaign, if you go backwards into the cave from the first outpost you clear out following the music it leads to a small room with a few dead marines and a brute

Oh man, the themes take me back. I shed a tear or two for times passed. I grew up on halo, played CE the day it came out. My young self had no idea what I was getting into, but I wouldn't trade those memories for anything.

Hitting the guitar also makes it play and the Banshee’s start up sound sounds like the original Xbox start up

There is also an Arbiter or Elite toy on the top of one of the mountains to the east if I recall. Weird thing is, it stood up on its own and wouldn’t fall back down.

Here’s a little Easter egg I found on the edge of the ring there’s a hole you can fall in with a grunt and marine posted up on each side of this hole, marine with sandbags grunt will halo material walls, They got a little shovel that they tried to did out of the hole together, but they ended up fighting and sticking to their respected sides until they ran out of food, the marine dying with a mre bag in his hand

Wow the effort the developers put into this is outstanding, some random and comical ones and some were just awesome
