Nice... Wallets that cost over a hundred dollars, but how many wallets will I buy in the next 65 years... I would be over 100 years old when the warranty was up. LOL Great Wallets, great review Edward. I'm a front pocket wallet carrier too. Thanks for sharing, take care.
IMHO this channel should have way, way more subscribers and views. Edward, you always bring us great content and the time and effort you spend on your videos really shows. Thanks for approaching your reviews with transparency and honesty.
I own several Trayvax wallets including the two you review. Love them. Currently rocking the Element as I'm always switching between them. Great review too. You put a lot of effort into your videos and it shows. Subscribed.
Everyone is crazy bout a sharp dressed Ed! They are some sic quality wallets! Congrats on them reaching out! 65 years, $20 trades for the old plus the Edward discount? That’s an epic deal!
I have the same two wallets you have here on your recommendations and. I love them and thanks for the discount code , I have referred other friends to your you tube video
I love the Trayvax Axis wallet. I need to carry 13 cards, mostly ID cards, and they fit easily and stay in place. The wallet is so small I sometimes have to feel to make sure I have it. I have been using it for over 2 months now. My old wallet in my back pocket was uncomfortable and easy for a pickpocket to remove, so I switched to front carry with a smaller leather wallet. When it started wearing out I went to wallet reviews like yours and found Trayvax. My son likes a different Trayvax. They make great wallets that are well worth the price.
All Trayvax products are high quality and innovative but if you are concern about rfid protection they do not block any signal. There is a video from disaster pepper that test a lot of brands and Trayvax does not offer rfid blocking or protection. Check it out
Nice video and review! Thanks for keeping it real! Between all your other reviews you give so many details that are helpful! I keep two cell phones in my left pocket, keys in the right and thin wallet in my right rear. As much as I’d like to not have a wallet in my rear pockets, I just don’t think I can do it. I was starting to have pain in my right hip, so I switched to a super think wallet that carries no more than 4 cards. I’ll be checking out trayvax for some rear wallets! Thanks for the discount code!
JonDZ Adventuring yo Jon! Thanks for the kind words, man. Good call on thinning out the rear pocket wallet. If not from Trayvax, I hope you will still be able to find a wallet you like no matter where you find one! 👍 also, we should hit up a trail or two sometime !
Another great video and review, I dig it! I am definetly in the market for a new edc wallet and I will be checking these out. I since switch my line of work and dont have the need for a big bulky wallet and this seems to fit what I need! Thank you for the discount and keep them coming!
jon shearer thanks Jon! You didn’t miss that part. I liked each wallet depending on the situation and environment I’m expecting to be in. I like the sophisticated yet rugged style of the Contour to carry to work or anything in everyday life, but I like the OG for camping/active type of situations since there is no leather material on it and it is rugged. But with that said, both of these wallets appear to be designed for all types of environments, and they both have bottle openers, which is huge for me especially 😉👍
I click on this video thinking its about EDC Las Vegas 2019 and that this wallet was for EDC las Vegas lol . But glad I click on this video cuz I'm now gonna look into this wallet and buy one. Thxs for the video
Excellent video editing, very well put together. Nice review -- I have both of these wallets also, and love them both. Using the OG2.0 most every day. I used to use their Axis most every day -- no leather wallets, which feels more bullet-proof, and the form factor is tiny and perfect while keeping good accessibility to both cards and cash. I also love the Spyderco Pakkawood! (Mine is a Delica... I think yours is the larger Endura?)
Edward good morning! So I wanted see how the RFID protection can be tested, I am not sure how that works. I ask because I own the OG 2 wallet. I wanted to mention that the excess paracord comes in handy to hang from a neck lanyard for id's and key card entry doors. Thank you for sharing!
Nice video! I own the origanal and trying to decide between 2.0 and contour. I am also outdoor active and wonder if sweat and occasional kayak water wouldn't be better with 2.0 even though I like the looks of contour. Thoughts?
REMAX Adventures - Deering Team I’ve had my contour during rainy backpacking trips without issues. The leather is quality, and getting it wet won’t do too much damage. The 2.0 is still a very solid wallet though. The contour is a good all around wallet for me 👍
I just pulled the trigger on getting me the 2.0 wallet. Made the purchase this morning. However, that contour looks really nice. I'm thinking of buying that one for my dad.
Enjoyed your video .... Subscribed! The #trayvaxbuyback is good till end of April 2019 and I am patiently waiting for the improved Axis in black. Until then I already bought the OG 2.0 and I love it (not turning in this one as I am starting my #Trayvax collection) keep up the great work.
Nice wallets, but they're not rfid blocking signals. Non of them. They provide a certain protection but the information can be scanned. Check it out. Nice review. Thanks.
Juan Azapian where did you get the info that it’s not rfid protected? I did a test by placing an access badge in it and the card reader did not pick it up.
@@KrokemOutdoors In trayvax website maybe a year ago they posted a rfid test with a scan by proximity and all the models beep the signal. The armored summit and the axis where the best but they beep too. I was looking for the test with the new og 2 but i couldn't find it. The website says protection not blocking.
