Me a CapCut user : 👁👄👁 edit : I actually use AM too if I want more transitions and smoother ones but I use capcut when I don’t need any crazy transitions or I just use it for school HAHAHAHAH

The fact I used every single one- I’ve been editing for a while-

Capcut should be there in my opinion. There's no watermark and you can always remove the end. There's also alot of options but the only thing that's missing is custom transitions

When Funimate came up all I could think of was: Neesha🖤🔒🤞🏾

At first i started with cute cut and I learned so many basics which made many things so much easier for me. The I have been editing with funimate alot but now... nah. Now i edit with alight motion and its sooo easy once you understand it and I love it but it crashes alot (i edit 3d mostly) and is really laggy but if you edit soft or movies whithoud 3d shapes its perfecttt

I literally went from ccp to ae and ae is surprisingly easy after learning the basics

honestly i’m the most comfortable with after effects it’s been few months that i begun using it but i had to watch tons of tutorials but i think it’s the best software for really cool edits even tho it’s quite hard to understand you can watch “Lauren” on yt she made a whole video for beginners in which she introduces the whole app with details and she also make good detailed and clear tutorials for different transitions. That’s how I understood ae and now i’m much more comfortable with it! The only bad thing about it is that it crashes a lot and the rendering part might be a real nightmare for editors lol but as always there’s tons of tutorials about crashing ae so you can easily find a solution.

i would personally recommend videostar for beginners. its easy to figure out once you get used to it, and its user friendly. once you get good at videostar, i would recommend moving to after effects because you can do so many more things on there and your edits will have so much more potiental. i would NOT recommed starting with after effects because it is not user friendly. its a software that professionals use, and its super hard to figure out at first. if you start with videostar/funimate it will get u prepared for ae

KineMaster is amazing but often looked over All the edits on my account and channel are made with KineMaster and the only problem with it is that it doesn’t have the 3D affects I love it though Even without premium it’s amazing You don’t need separate apps to add things either Purely KineMaster

I have the cracked ver of ae but I can't bring myself to go on and keep learning how to do transitions it looks so intimidating plus my computer crashes each time

Tbh in my opinion ae and vs are the best apps to make fan edits if u have experience, funimate is good if u just started but try to make ur own transitions on it to learn and not to use funimate’s transitions

For funimate save your edit to private projects and then screen-record it! (it has no wm)

For people who dont have a computer or dont want to crack AE, Node Video is a rlly good editing app and apparently its like AE but on mobile! I havent gotten the hang of it yet tho T-T its very underrated imo :)

if you want to edit on funimate and want that to be your main editing app, then i suggest getting pro because if you want to save there is no wm and you get so much more effects unlocked. i have pro and i always use this one shake on all my edits and it’s an amazing one

Okay, I have funimate the free kind and when I export I don’t have a watermark-

And then there's me, who screen records on the trial version of flimora watching this like: 👁️👄👁️ Could these be the one...?

Funimate is really good starter app and when you get to custom transitions it’s really easy i see alot of advanced editors on there and idk why ppl call the app trash

I started editing on ccp and about a year (?) later I started also using am for edits, but i never made full edits on am I just used it for transitions that I couldn't do on ccp. Then about a year after that (end of october 2020) i switched to ae permanently, so I've been editing on ae for like 3 months now
