i mean makes sense due to her absurdly high uptime,and her slow apply not really being a factor for his quicken teams,doh i wonder how a quickburn team would do. i used a overburn team for awhile and even with a constant burning aura i still got spread and aggravate procs so it shouldnt be impossible,but if its even worthwhile even with emilie is questionable i guess.

Theoretically her melt teams are quite stronger than Nahida's, especially Wrio ones. I don't understand the hate, she's really strong.

True but her teams are already pretty good, she doesn't need to gain value as was the case of Yae or Kuki for example

Emilie's point is not burning damage itself, so making it crit is not useful for the team. For the team you mentioned, only Nahida is built full EM, but there's no guarantee she'd have ownership over the burning reaction, so most of the time burning won't do that much. That said, you can make a burning team with Nahida for burning damage, like Air Fryer, in which case her C2 is useful, but these teams are not for Emilie.

If he uses the bp as bottomline weapon to use, most of the time the unit need very high investment

its actually what most tc's ive seen use when calculating polearm characters. TGS also uses deathmatch in his assumptions. i think its because other 4* polearm options are quite frankly terrible

@@cappycap8144 while that is true I've never heard other TCs tell people to not spend money on the game. They just give their opinions and you do you. Zajef being a big TC, when he says stuff like not spending money on the game it does color opinions (don't get me wrong, i agree with him to not spend money on this game especially if you can't afford it, it's not really worth it). So if he says that he should be providing f2p options. No sense in saying that you shouldn't spend money on the game but then using a paid weapon for calcs that are mostly aimed at f2p players just because he bought a battlepass weapon when he started.

It wasn't an accident, most likely. Snapshotting is generally a good thing, as it allows damage over time characters to compare on an even footing with direct damage teams. The problem is that they made Bennett. All the units not snapshotting is most likely due to him.

I has never been a bug, modern characters still snapshot, only that never the good characters or talents. Dehya skill, charlotte burst, yaoyao skill, etc all snapshot to absolutely no point at all…

@@Axterix13 I a guarantee it was an accident. I've played a lot of RPGs over the years. Snapshotting is always broken. I guess me calling it a bug is wrong but it was also never intentional. It's just the easiest way to program abilities. To remove snapshotting means they have to do extra work which is annoying for them. So every character has it at the start and if they find it too beneficial they remove it. Xiangling and bennett just slipped through the cracks because they were launch characters and they had so much going on.

Idk actually. If it was really a bug then the moment they realized, they would have fixed everything (including xiangling, fishcl, and noelle) and stopped in 1.0. And yet there were some still some characters being released afterwards that can snapshot. (Such as beidou in 1.1, rosaria in 1.4, I believe Ganyu burst can as well? And she is in 1.2, and ayaka in 2.0).

Bennett has always been a good enough healer for furina. He will heal most characters to near 100% during their setups. This includes other supports, not just the in field

Probably, dehya is trash, but she still can apply burn. Also bring thoma and nahida too, so now your dehya team is solid. Even if you got lag spike and forgot to use dehya skill and burst, this team still will do significant damage.

Emilie's skill has special ICD, it can only apply at most once per 2s. In practice that means every other hit, or every 3 seconds. He's definitely wrong about the range though.

Dendro teams don't really suck without nahida, sure they're all a lot better with her but teams like Alhaitham quickbloom and baizhu double hydro hyperbloom don't fall too far behind. Sometimes players just like the character, their kit and mechanics so they want them to be strong enough in their niche to pull for them.

Emillie just like fischl but dendro, the main focus of her is her off-field damage. So different than nahida who give a lot em and dendro app

Everything the others said is true, but her main selling point is doing damage without quicken, all the others dendro units need quicken to do respectable damage, even Nahida. So she is a dendro unit that actually do damage in teams without electro

Nahida is heavily tied to either electro or Nilou bloom. Emilie opens up a new avenue of damage by maintaining burning aura for melt or vape or even Lyney mono pyro since he gains damage from attacking pyro-afflicted enemies. Given that she's releasing before Natlan, there's a high chance there's new pyro synergies in Natlan and that in itself will work against Nahida unless there's a new character that functions with burgeon

Emilie has better damage than Nahida for non quicken teams. Nahidas burning damage is not that strong. Emilie has decent dendro app, especially with her A1 being taken into account. Her burst applies dendro 9 times in a somewhat AoE quadratic scaling like Ayato or ganyu. Emilie will just feel better in multi wave and Nahida will have to recast again in multiwave with a bunch of weak enemies but despite Emilie ST nature of her skill, she would have an easy time just picking off enemies. It's like at this point, the genshin community doesn't want dendro sub dps but just dendro application whether on field or off field, calling for such a stagnant approach to dendro simply because spread and hyperbloom are quite broken.

Because you are not using pyro unites on those teams Burning eats the dendro Aurora while quicken doesn't get consumed while doing electro and dendro reactions Imagine playing collei in burn teams instead of nahida , maintaining your dendro will be hell Her dendro app matters because in teams where u wanna use her u must use pyro unites and thus u require a good dendro uptime
