Nice! I like to run iceborne with tough and nine lives for super tanky fun. Add breath of life and the only thing left to worry about is the dash chomp body slam. A nine lives proc can save you though.
i just started playing yesterday and have a question, most people I see use Gnasher armor in there set. but when I slay a Gnasher it's not unlocking the crafting recipe. do you have to fight it at a certain level or what?
Lesser Gnasher doesn't count, keep progressing the questline until you unlock Gnasher Edit: seems there's indeed a bug with unlocking gear, they're working on it.
Any heavy attack (or Chain Blades light attack) can do that (except Repeaters, but they have a Grip for that). It's just a matter of timing so you don't get hit first.
@@ralphmify for chain blades, the dodge + light attack have a faster animation than just a normal light attack, so it's better for interrupting, but any light attack works.
@@ralphmify You can stun behemoths if you hit them when they have the "orange lines" on their head (there's a whole list with the attacks that interrupt), some can also get interrupted if you do enough damage (I think blue damage) to them while they cast some attacks, like Quillshot's enraged attack where it throws its spikes for like 5s
if you havent found out by now: it's not the dash that does the boop, it is the light attack that immediately follows the dash ;-) Happy hunting, fellow slayer!
@@XannyPhantasmo oh cool! i didn't think you'd reply. So all of those equips just need +1 right? and is this build still viable today? I need a general set that i can use for all the escalations
