Thank you for featuring my puzzle! I'm glad you enjoyed it. It's named Siphonophorae because the shape of the larger thermo reminded me of a siphonophore, which is a deep sea creature.

Great puzzle and solve. Solved it in 33:48. Immediately after recognizing the 4567 quadruple in row 5 one can deduce that one of r5c346 must be 4, so at least one of r4c35 must be 3, placing 3 to r3c4.

Thanks so much for the tips.. I managed till a point and then got fully stuck. The tip that a 2 in box 4 and 1 will leave no place for 2 in column 7 was what I loved the most. It kind of opened the floodgates :). I agree. Very nice construction.

There is something special about this puzzle. OK so I always enjoy a puzzle I manage to solve and I also found that tip (all by myself) but it came about because of similar deductions in the puzzle. Lovely stuff. Actually now I read your comment again, my no place for a 2 was elsewhere. Just shows how excited I got.
