Whoops, I made an error on my sheet and over-calculated the daily budget percentage by 10%. Same strategy and concept fully applies but the made up example will be about 10% worse. Hope this still adds a ton of value to all your brands 🚀

Hey sam . Shouldn't we run the best performing "single interest targeting" Ad for 2 weeks before adding the non single targeting ad to the scale campaign ? So we can know which one works the best ?

Great video! Question on the ASC campaign, do you put 0% for the “existing customer” budget since you’d have the retention campaign that hits the customers?

Nice video! Thanks for going a bit more into detail on this video. I still have 2 questions about the scaling. Say that my ASC campaign is giving good results everyday, can I scale it by 10-20% EVERYDAY? & After how many days of not hitting the desired ROAS or CAC do you decide to decrease the budget?

1. id move it up every few days max 2. same thing, few days

@@SamPiliero Thanks for the answers man! If possible I would like to get 1 more question clarified. I got a winning dropshipping product that we will start up in a new store with new creatives. Meaning with time we will spend decent of money Should I start with only the CBO (ALL creatives) with around 150 USD to see which ads works for 1 week? And then start an ASC with maybe 250 USD with the winning creatives? Or CBO (ALL creatives) 200 USD & ASC (ALL creatives) 200 USD directly and shut down the worst performers from the ASC?

@@infodesignarrivals dont go for cbo in the start , i would rather suggest you to start with ABO , use 3-4 adsets , 2 creatives one image 1 video in all for all 3-4 adsets , and in every ad set use interests if udont know the exact interests , go though competetors ad creatives or use interest key ffinder on google and place 1/6th budget of your selling price and let it run for 5 days atleast , after 5 days do 20% method every 3-4 days

So just making sure I understand. When you have a winning ad in your Prospecting campaign and move it to ASC+, you don’t turn it off, correct? You just let it keep running in tandem? And then at what point do you turn off batches that aren’t working or individual ads that aren’t working, or do you just leave them?
@SamPiliero
@SamPiliero 7 дней назад
Correct, NEVER shut something that’s working. When ads are low spending and low roas then feel free to pause. Low spend and high road leave. Mid spend and low road can be cut.
@TannerRichieMain
@TannerRichieMain 7 дней назад
@@SamPiliero Awesome, thanks for the input. One more question, is there a certain amount of spend you want to see/length of time before you lose hope in an ad? For example, if AOV is $250, would you leave ad until it's spent at least a certain amount in comparison to AOV? Also, I've noticed Meta latches on to a couple videos I have and spends a lot on them. They are sometimes 1x ROAS or less...but get good engagement, but just not the sales/ROAS I'm looking for. I've read that if META is heavily spending on an ad, it's a good idea not to kill it...but also, there's got to be a point where you cut the bleeding right? Kind of irritating when Meta wants to spend the budget on specific vids when other static ads clearly have better return.

Hi. Thanks for this video. Questions 1. What is intial budget for One Broad_Pack? Is it always 5% of my whole budget. Let say I have 6 BP, and my budget is 30.000, So I take 15.000 and divide it to 6 BP? I understand I do not raise budget in BP only in Interest_Something and in ASC I do it. 2. QUestion - ASC - do I raise budget here eg. evety 7 days? Same in iterests? Thanks
@SamPiliero

budgets are CBO so you set it at the campaign level. whatever you are able to start out with is what you should do, never overextend your budget

Hi Sam, thanks for this video. Are you creating 3 different campaign for every product (I have personal brand business, and selling books, planners, board game, digital products (e-books, courses...)) or you put all products (or simillar price products) in one (in your case 3) campaigns? Thanks
@SamPiliero
@SamPiliero 7 дней назад
it sounds like you are doing a lot of different things at once. this is very abnormal so im not so sure about this to be completely honest. if all of your items are for 1 single business then just think about them as products, nothing with this strategy changes

Thanks Sam! Amazing Video and very easy to follow. Just a quick question: Once you graduate an Ad from prospecting CBO to ASC, do you delete the old one in CBO so that they do not cannibalise each other? Or leave it so you have a benchmark for new creatives? Thank you!

You mentioned that we should start with only one bucket, then add more as we have more new ads. However, I’m running a clothing brand with around 8 designs, each with 5-6 videos. So, I’m thinking of starting the CBO with 8 buckets adsets, each adset focusing on a separate design and its videos. This helps me stay organized, and the budget will be $300 daily. What do you think of that? Thanks!

Mark, in the CBO campaign, if it spends a lot of budget but doesn't generate sales, should we deactivate the creative? I have a creative that has already spent 6 times my CPA in the CBO, but it's not generating any sales.

for gymwear in most cases i would actually break it out especially if you content is a bid edgy, you dont want the opposite gender clicking because they think someone is attractive

keep 1 campaign, 8-9 is on the mid/upper range but since its truly your top performers only then it should always be fine. getting above 15 is scary

hey man great video again! But my ocd kicked in. When breaking down the spend you did 5/25/80 that’s 110% calculation on revenue.. anyway what I wanted to ask you, I love the concept but 1. When creative single interest adset once you created with the top 10% what if after 1 months you’ve got another new top 10% ?! you either create another adset single interested ( the same as previous ) but will be a competition bidding with yourself or else adding those creatives in the 1stly create ad set will crush its performance… 2. you said Facebook is great at understanding much faster than us… I believe so, but so many times creatives don’t even get to start spending and I am wondering how can that be detected Thanks
@SamPiliero
@SamPiliero 7 дней назад
just addressed this in the top comment! thanks for the catch. concept still applies. 1. you cannot bid on yourself dont worry about this, you want a competitive account where new ads need to compete 2. ctr, cpm, outbound ctr, historical conversion rate. typically fb can determine what will work with a few thousand impressions where we as humans have to wait for dozens of purchases.
