I went to the Lego store and they said it's cool to scan D&D series figs. Found 1 Dragonborn. Asked if they have any new boxes. She came out with a 36 set box and said I could scan them too. Found 3 more Dragonborns. Lego employees are some of the best customer service people in the business!
They always let people feel the bags so thats nice. I just went to books-a-million and they let me scan them, although someone had taken all the dragonborns which is lame
Really wish i didnt stop following lego when i was younger. I guess im glad i came back on track when the dnd legos came out! All the minifigs are so awesome
The hype for the dragon born is so crazy I went to three stores were they were all sold out then one with a fresh 36 box. And I felt really bad for taking all three of the Dragonborn’s because someone will have the same experience as me scanning all the boxes and not getting a single one
So many strong candidates throughout the years! I struggle to put together a top 3, so let's go with top 5. 1-Bat Lord. Updated prints and buildable axe are unlike anything else we've seen. 2-Wolfpack Rogue. Having this figure in hand made me appreciate it so much more. The prints, hood, and gloved hand are excellent. 3-Dragonborn Paladin. Armor, buildable mace, multiuse torso, and dragon head are so great! 4-Knight of the Yellow Castle. Nostalgic overload and unique color scheme. 5-Classic King. I mean classic king... what else can I say?
I had never thought about it in terms of the best of every series lined up like this. Great video. And Lego really has made some great medieval and castle minifigs!
I am proud and happy I got all of them. Took me a while to collect them. My two favorites are Basil the bat lord and who doesn’t love the Paladin from D&D.
I've got most of the ones you mentioned, and they're all great. I really hope we get more castle sets going forward (or just a castle or second d&d themed series of cmfs)
I got back into lego 2 years ago and i missed all the old CMFs castle minifigures. They are expensive now and super hard to get, but i’ll collect all the upcoming ones. Still need 3 of the D&D ones….thanks for the video
Just picked up a frightening knight and I think it has the hands-down best knight with chainmail around and I wish TLG would make more like it/expand the Castle factions in a tournament-style set
Really wish I did'nt put Lego aside for a few years, because some of previous minifigures are stunning. The Castle King's beard from series 13 and the Elf Maiden are so useful. Looking forward to the new series coming January 2025
I gave the vampire knight shaggy hair, a dog and a shopping basket with dog bones in it and put him in my fancy dress food festival little set up I have going on. He would be as horrified as I’m sure you are 🤣. I loved seeing all of the minifigures you highlighted!
There are a lot of really good knight/fantasy/castle based minifigures in the cmf range. I'm looking forward to better pictures of 27 for the Beastmaster and the Quartermaster - see if the torso would suit a bard.
Just started getting back into lego as i had always loved lego as a kid. When i found out about these mini figure series i was so excited to see all the cool figures that came out these last few years and then so sad to find I missed out on them. Luckily bricklink is a thing, unlucky for my wallet... paid $30 for the series one forestman haha. Nice video! Im excited for series 27!
Nice video but I think you forgot the Series 15 Queen (the King partner) which can also count as a medieval and the Series 12 Fairytale Princess can also join the "Royal Family" 😉.
I have come to the same conclusions as you did ! Just came in with the DnD minifigs and trying to get any CMF that is fantasy related. I think you forgot Agatha Harkness and the Werewolf on Marvel series 2 and onn series 1 there is Lady Loki, very fantasy
Great. Just what I needed. Thanks. A Spartan warrior is of course not a Medieval figure but from the ancient-classical period, but then again what is a 1000 years difference ;)
thanks man! and haha good point, i did put a *ancient history note on the screen when i made said that but that series was a little weak for castle! hey maybe a spartan warrior x king Henry V crossover is exactly what we need
If you find a minute, maybe take a look at 2 books. Rangers of shadowdeep and 5 Leagues from the borderlands. You might line then and can use your lego instead of traditional wargame metal/plastic minis
For me It's Probably the orc I've always wanted to make a Mini Figure character Now There is a Mini figure That doesn't Look evil Because. Before I Was Going to Use Lord the rings Mini figure Or a figure From ninjago But once this figure came out I found three I might try and find more To build a whole faction Here's hoping Build a Mini Figure At The lego store Has the Parts One of these Or maybe The next Wave of Dungeons And Dragons Mini Figures Series 2 Might Have some orc In there Anyway Thanks for reading
